Without Alastor, they were done for. So what is this "he started the fight"? Is she so out of reasons to explain why Charlie would go to Emily that she needs to rewrite the plot to make Alastor at fault for it to make sense?

Alastor didnt attack to help anyone but himself. But at the end of the day, he was the reason Vox never obliterated heaven. So if anything, Charlie should have had some gratitude. And if vivz still wanted her to choose Emily 1st, thats fine, but dont rewrite history to suit her view

The sentence comes off clearly blaming Alastor. When in fact Vox had been poised to set of the beam towards Heaven while Charlie did nothing. And it was Alastor attacking him that diverged his attention enough that heaven never got attacked, and Charlie and Co could regroup to stop the beam.
