#Blackhawks win over the Kings 2-1. Shows we can actually win tight games when we want to. Kantserov with his team leading 5th goal. Side note, Korchinski made some nice plays but still played under 9 minutes, with 5 shifts in the last two periods. Blash hates him for no reason.

Been so cool tracking this flight here and there throughout the day. The future of aviation is right here with this plane. Longer flights, completely new direct flights. #Airbus

I'm five minutes into #SpiderNoir and all I will say so far is this: You need to 100% watch this in black & white, or you're watching this wrong. Truly cannot overstate how important it is to watch Spider-NOIR in black & white.

Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi's smartphone division, reveals that 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage cost a staggering $220 more now thanks to the DRAM crisis. That's an insane rise in cost and I fear it won't come down for years.

Absolutely insane trailer for #SpiderNoir dropped just a few hours ago. I am so glad that not only did the Spider-Verse movies do well enough to make this happen, but that Cage's performance elevated it to a level where it had to be done. Cannot wait to watch this!

Armia's glove barely touches Nemec and Nemec goes down like he took a slingshot to the dome. You gotta be better than that Nemec, you are representing your country. #Olympics

The size of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra periscope camera module vs the Xiaomi 17 Ultra's unit. INSANE size difference that will be part of the price increase. (Photo via Xiaomi)

I initially thought that #Frankenstein was maybe good but not great, until I realized that during its 2.5hr runtime, I never once thought to myself "Oh man, how long is this going to take?" It kept me entertained throughout its runtime and it really earns it.

The Toxic Avenger 7.5/10. It is VERY graphic in places and its very 80s/90s comedy action, so don't watch it unless you're ready for that "OMG, that's so cheesy" type moments (kinda like The Mask (1994) but less brilliant comedy) and gore, good lord some people get DESTROYED. But it is a FUN movie.

When you refresh your feed 'cos there's "Austin Shooting" trending again and only then realize "Oh yeah, it IS a new one" instead of the hashtags just being broken.

R.IP. Ozzy Osbourne, a true legend of the business and an innovator of heavy metal. Truly one of the greatest to ever do it and one of those guys who history will always remember.

I hate the fact that when President Cheeto said that other countries would pay for the US tariffs, he was kind of right in a sense that many companies, such as Sony and Microsoft, would just pussy out and increase prices EVERYWHERE to cover for the tariffs. A broken clock is right twice a day, eh?

#GTAVI trailer looks amazing and the in-game screenshots and lore drops, even better. Looks like they've put in so much effort into this game that they just don't want to drop it unfinished. Can't wait to play it, its gonna be worth the wait.

#Blackhawks draw the 3rd overall pick for the 2025 #NHL entry draft. Looking a bit slim as far as getting Misa goes, but if the lottery winning Islanders take the hometown kid Hagens, then the Sharks could pick the defenseman they need in Schaefer and the Hawks would be left with Misa.

If Vivo wants to have more market share overseas, they'll definitely have to start pushing their highly capable Ultra flagships harder in Europe. Haven't seen that so far and haven't seen anything about the X200 Ultra to suggest that it is going to get a global release. Do they want Europe or not?

Arizona (now Utah) got a 2025 third-round pick from the Rangers for facilitating the Kane to Rangers trade for the #Blackhawks at the trade deadline and now the Hawks got a 3rd for doing the same with Necas and Rantanen. Don't see the issue here or why people are freaking out. Seems right in line.

Just got done watching #AManOnTheInside and I have to say, it is exactly what I wanted in terms of simple plot, some comedic relief, light drama and of course, Ted Danson's delivery. Highly recommend it. 10/10.

#Nosferatu - 10/10. A masterpiece of horror with its camera work that reminds you of the limitations of human senses, turning your head towards and away, losing your mind and getting back control, facing your demons and overcoming them. A brilliant movie that deserves all the praise it has gotten.

Not sure if I've ever seen this before, defenseman Luke Schenn with 6 SOG in the span of 4 seconds. #NHL

#IronMaiden drummer Nicko McBrain announces his retirement from the band. What an absolute legend, truly one of the best to ever do it.

Under sea cable between Finland and Sweden has been cut. As a Finn, I'm tired of these headlines. It's time for the EU to really tighten the noose on Russia. Sanction Visa and MasterCard to cease operations there, ban them from international airspace, etc. Time for inaction is over.

#Oppo Find X8 Pro looks like a solid device, but asking 1200€ for a device w/o a 1" sensor, no Snapdragon 8 Elite, no ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a mediocre selfie cam is just asking for low sales. Really hoping the Find X8 Ultra knocks it out of the park AND is actually released in the EU.

First episode of #ThePenguin is one of the highlights of TV this year. Absolutely incredible start that I hope the series carries forward.

What a performance by Blinky, the man who has memorized the world. #GeoGuessr #wc24

Some good pointers in the Pixel 9 keynote, but I'm glad the Gemini AI demo had some hiccups. Showed us what it's actually going to be like when network conditions aren't ideal. Price is a bit steep, but I'm considering getting the 9 XL. Seems like they did actually improve things. #MadeByGoogle

That's the 9th time Duplantis has set a WR in men's pole vault. Incredible athlete, he's the GOAT of the sport.

The #Oilers hiring Stan Bowman as their GM is quite the move. We as hockey fans must not let this stand and we have to let the Oilers and the #NHL know that he must be relieved of his duties. You should not be allowed back into a workplace where you covered up a sexual assault.

With the Pixel 9 series, Google is finally expanding into new territories, including Finland. Finnish carrier Elisa and electronics store Gigantti both displaying ads for the Pixel 9. #MadeByGoogle

#Abigail had a lot of potential (Alisha Weir and Kathryn Newton rocked it) but it just got too convoluted in the end and it completely forgot the horror elements about halfway through. Had it stayed on the horror side, I'm sure it would have been better. But the way it turned out... Generic gore.

Watched #LateNightWithTheDevil and I have to say, it was absolutely brilliant. One of the best movies of the year, brilliant execution with the epilogue in the style of a documentary, the main parts of the movie in a talk show format and segments in between in B&W between "commercial breaks". 10/10

No, Duolingo, you need to get the fuck off my phone. I am not creating a profile just for this app. Forcing people to do so is asinine. I really need to invest into actual language learning.

All these mofos worried about "wokeness" and I'm just looking at these pictures like "Goddamn, didn't realize Sweeney had such a nice set... Of eyes."

After watching #AvatarTheLastAirbender, I have to say that the show just falls flat. The emotional impact just isn't there when the protagonist is a kid, a 12 year old kid, who has no idea how anything works and just doesn't have the emotional maturity to make anything impactful. Forgettable 6/10.

Going into Poor Things, I did not realize how abstract this movie would be. Perhaps I missed it from the trailers, but going in, I feel it should be known to the viewer that is far more artistic, abstract and "indie-like" than one would imagine. I feel like Wes Anderson directed parts of this.

What does this even mean? Does this mean that you buy the S24 Ultra for 1500€ and lose some of the features in 2025 unless you pay even more? Fuck any and all subscriptions for a phone that costs that much.

I thought Rebel Moon (Part 1) was a solid movie, could have used some script polish from someone else than Snyder (who is a good visual director, but lacks in writing), but I still found it to be a fun action movie. Give this one a chance, even if it isn't perfect. A fun sci-fi action movie. 7.5/10.

Twitch recap for 2023. No real surprises here, though it does make me miss some streamers who didn't stream as much this year and therefore aren't on here.

Here are my results from MKBHD's blind smartphone camera test. Very interesting to see that, at least for me, the same phone wasn't a clear winner in any category, top 3 is all different. You can vote for yourself here vote.mkbhd.com

Twitch doing this bullshit where it will never stop the ad if you switch tabs and instead continuously plays the ad again and again until you stay in the tab to watch the ad before resuming the stream is.... If your site can't run without ads like that, your site doesn't deserve to run at all.
