She/her 🏳️‍⚧️ Hi this page exists just so I can post random things that I feel like telling people (i also really love rhythm games but skill issue) (i also really really want to actually pay for rhythm games (epsecially arcaea) but legally can't 🪦)

One random thing I don't like about a thing most people do is when they equate legality and morality. Or more specifically, that if something is illegal then it's immediately equated to being immoral. That mindset makes even less sense as someone living under a dictatorship

Literally my existence is illegal here, does that mean that the moral thing to do would be to not let myself exist?

Onions aren't a DPS class. Rather, onions are a support class since they apply debuffs instead of dealing damage

I've noticed that, generally, rhythm games always expect that the player knows what they need to do to configure the game to be comfortable. Which leads to seeing tons and tons of beginners being confused about or ignoring thing like offset, hitsound volume and note speed

I already consider Phigros the ultimate beginner rhythm game because it has a lenient judgement window (+-80ms for perfects), teaches the player about a lot of gimmicks (which basic 4k VSRG won't do), eases the player into difficulties well and has a high skill ceiling so they can keep playing it

But despite that, Phigros probably does the worst job at explaining offset and hitsounds, it doesn't have any explanation of what they do, let alone how to properly use them. And the concept of configurable note speed isn't applicable to Phigros

I think it'd be nice if there were some "beginner" rhythm games that taught beginners things like this, as well as generally how to play rhythm games because sometimes beginners don't even realise how *that* is done and focus just on visuals

If SSH stands for "Secure Shell", shouldn't it be pronounced sort of like "es esh" rather than "es es eich"?

My VPS provider decided to change my VPS's IP, and three days before that they sent me a notice going "hey uh you have a new ip now, the old one will be active for the next three days so make sure you update your stuff to the new ip" Guess who never noticed the notification and had to restart things

Sometimes I think of Technology Connections and think "wow he's so cool" because he actually is so cool

Turns out that doesn't work, CS2 marketplaces require KYC verification. However I found a person who takes Steam games as payment so thank you so very much

The way I do online purchases is - I use a third party to deposit my money to my Steam wallet - I buy CS2 cases with the deposited money - I sell those cases at a third-party marketplace for non-Steam money - I withdraw that money to a trusted person's account - I ask that person to buy what I need

I wanted to make dough for a thing, and only like 10 hours later after falling asleep and waking up realised that I forgot to put the yeast in the dough

A random thing I remembered earlier that I found a bit funny is that, the way I realised my knife in this apartment is dull is because I couldn't cut myself no matter how much I tried. I never really thought about sharpening knives before that so didn't have a sharpener, so I had to buy a new knife

Anyway, since I bought a new knife I realised just how easy cutting tomatoes and other softer things is supposed to be. I wonder if I would have realised my knife is dull if I didn't do the thing

I forgot how many posts need to be in a thread so Bluesky hides some inbetween ones so here I go testing again 1

I was told by Google that it's "laundering", not "laundery" Sure whatever I don't care put my money in the washing machine

You really can't ever trust the internet with newly released media at all Phigros's Chapter 8 second part released literally less than 24 hours ago, but I saw people send things from there without marking them as spoilers at least 3 times already

Sometimes I feel like I'm being overly negative all the time on my Bluesky account, but I guess negative things are just the only ones I really feel like sharing But also it's not like anyone really reads these anyway

A lot of people have a mentality of "if i give credit to someone who made a piece of art then i can take that piece of art and do whatever i want with it without asking for the artist's consent", and I genuinely don't get how someone comes to that conclusion

So I've always had an issue of buying milk for baking and not using it nearly enough so it goes bad and it was so annoying, but recently I learnt about evaporated milk and realised my life could have been so much easier this whole time
