Didn’t realize my feature request was fulfilled! Cartridge support, loads quick! It’s a convenient & modern way to convert C64 save states to something permanent/physical, or via flash cart. Completely skips the slow disk boot time. github.com/tommyo123/Vi...
got a receipt printer based on thirtythreedown.com/2025/11/02/p... but it lacks macOS support, so I vibe coded a web version ctp500.neocities.org

With @polpo.org 's latest 3.x firmware, the PicoGUS is able to emulate a CD-ROM drive! Using ISO and BIN/CUE images on a USB stick, it eliminates yet another unreliable component with moving parts in a retro PC. Join me today as I take this new feature for a spin! youtu.be/08IPnmvuatw

Interesting thing on GBATemp: gbatemp.net/threads/tgma... Well, that's one way to play TGM. On the GBA, no less. I still suck at it, though. Not used to the rotation system at all or the immense speed once we're at 20G speed. #blutoid #gba #tetris youtu.be/o2dAYr_qm10

This is big news for the #MegaDuck laptop! Finally we have aftermarket SRAM/Save Carts for this console, esp useful since the OEM Save Carts are basically impossible to find now.
Today my 4Mbit flashes arrived. I immediately tested them and what should I say? Success! The first ever to exist #MegaDuck FlashCart supporting SRAM saves 👌 This is now a standalone DataBank Module with embedded memory. Neat 😁

I hate to post this, but Don Hui (Novaspirit Tech) passed away yesterday. Very brief video about it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkGq...) — his family requested donations to his son Zachery's 529 college fund: (see reply)
I made* a free web app for tracking the bank in Monopoly monacleman.neocities.org *not taking full credit since AI helped, so consider it public domain. my actual web coding skills are in the GeoCities age, seemed appropriate to dump here. it’s even a PWA so you can add it to your home screen. 💸
Got a real TMS9918 chip in and it’s still a black screen with random Coleco noises. Did some fun troubleshooting with @leadedsolder.com and the BIOS ROM chip is a bit sus. We’ll find out in a few weeks if a different one fixes anything on the Leako! 🙏
I’ve finally reached a milestone in building @leadedsolder.com’s Leako kit, my first SMD project. All the SMD parts are now complete on both sides. Now on to the through-hole parts. 🤞
After the holidays I’ll send this off to JLCPCB. It’s an MSX/SMS PCB that replaces the NES controller’s. Thanks @polpo.org and @leadedsolder.com for the KiCad tips. I repurposed this design github.com/samson7point... I’ll add it to my github with credits due, assuming it works 🤞
Done. Now I can play MSX games with a proper controller. Thanks @ompearetro.com for the pinout guide!
Package arrived… It’s a Sony! Thanks @leadedsolder.com for the MSX and Oyanami multicart. Still can’t believe how I accidentally inspired you to start such a cool project. Now to get lost in The Maze... www.leadedsolder.com/2024/09/03/m...
Updated DIY Datalink Adapter, added Pi Pico 2 & 2W support! github.com/famiclone650... Got a Timex Datalink? Original software, modern Windows, winevdm, +$5 Pico syncs watch!
