sports.yahoo.comCameron Boozer Hype Still RisingSALT LAKE CITY, UTAH - OCTOBER 26: Cameron Boozer #27 of the Memphis Grizzlies drives into Josh Okogie #21 of the Utah Jazz during the second half of a game at Delta Center on October 26, 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowledges and agrees that, by downloading and or using this photograph, User is consenting to the terms and conditions of the Getty Images License Agreement. (Photo by Alex Goodlett/Getty Images) | Getty Images Like most Duke fans, we’re guessing, we’ve been excited to see how Cameron Boozer’s rookie season turns out. Well, so far, so good. Memphis is currently 4-0, which is even more impressive when you consider they’ve had to replace Ja Morant, and that Zach Edey is still on restricted minutes due to his ankle issue. Somewhat surprisingly, Ty Jerome has emerged as an offensive force. In his first four games, he’s scored 45, 28, 31, and 15 points Monday night against the Utah Jazz. This from a guy starting his eighth season and whose career scoring average is 9.7 points. Kind of wild. But Boozer is a big part of the Grizzlies’ success. He’s being lauded by a lot of players as being advanced beyond his years, including Jerome. It’s probably not a coincidence that Jerome’s playing at an insane level. A journeyman guard, Jerome was leading the league in scoring at 34.7 points per game going into Monday night (his average is down to 29.8 now). Boozer probably is making a lot of that possible since he’s drawing a lot of attention from defenses. Against Utah, he finished with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Most importantly, he finished with a win. Again. Among those who are impressed with Boozer is Golden State’s Draymond Green, who said this: “So very impressed with Cam Boozer to start the season, but also just to go up against him for the first time, very strong, you know, doesn’t back down from a challenge. He talks out there on the floor. Like, I was very, very, very impressed with Cam Boozer. And so it’ll be interesting to see, you know, watch his progress as the season goes on to see how his career starts to play out, but I’m very impressed with Cam Boozer. Just, like I said, the thing that stood out most is he moves extremely well. He can handle the ball like he... that piece was shocking to me.” “I thought he’d be a 20-10 guy anyway. I didn’t think it’d be like this though, like this type of 20-10, where it’s threes, it’s off the bounce, it’s off the post, offensive boards. Like I didn’t know it’d be all that. And so, yeah, very impressed with young Cam Boozer.” * ‘That Piece Was Shocking to Me’: Draymond Green Did Not Have Answers for 19-Year-Old Rookie Who Gave Warriors an Embarrassing Loss * ‘I had no clue’… Draymond Green shocked by how good Cam Boozer is after playing the Memphis Grizzlies * Grizzlies’ Cameron Boozer is doing things as a rookie that haven’t been seen since Shaq, Elgin Baylor Go to the DBR Boards to find Blue Healer Auctions || Drop us a line

ign.comThis TSA-Compliant Daran 89.6Wh 100W LiFePO4 Power Station Drops to Just $49.99Ahead of Black Friday, Amazon is offering the diminutive Daran 89.6Wh 100W Power Station for just $49.99 after applying coupon code "DDDD4999". Unlike previous iterations of this deal, you don't to be an Amazon Prime member to be eligible. This "power station" is similar in size and capacity to a high-capacity power bank, except that it uses superior LiFePO4 battery cells and has AC outlets in addition to USB ports. Save 50% Off the Daran 89.6Wh 100W LiFePO4 Power Station The Daran power station just 6.5" x 3.3" x 4" and weighs in at a portable 2.5 pounds. The 89.6W battery capacity (approximately 28,000mAh at 3.2V) is also TSA compliant, so you can bring it with you on your airplane flights. It has a total of seven charging ports, including two 120V AC outlets (100W max), two USB-C ports (45W/15W), two USB-A ports (18W/15W), and a DC5521 port (60W). The 100W max output on the AC outlet is good for charging higher powered mobile electronics like your laptop, iPad, or handheld gaming PC, but it's also handy for older, legacy electronics that are powered by a traditional plug and not a USB cable. The power station uses LiFePO4 cells instead of NCM cells you'd find in some other budget power stations. LiFePO4 cells have inherently safer chemistry, longer lifespan, and slower calendar aging than NCM cells. They are widely regarded as the best battery option for power stations. NBA News - Jaylen Brown's camp shuts down report that he demanded a trade out of Boston: It's '10,000% a lie': Despite a report to the contrary, Jaylen Brown's camp is denying that he demanded a trade out of Boston this past offseason.  The idea… #JaylenBrown #NBA #BostonCeltics #76ers #TradeTalks

sports.yahoo.comJaylen Brown's camp shuts down report that he demanded a trade out of Boston: It's '10,000% a lie'Despite a report to the contrary, Jaylen Brown's camp is denying that he demanded a trade out of Boston this past offseason.  The idea that Brown, now with the Philadelphia 76ers, demanded a trade or even presented the Celtics with a list of demands is "10,000% a lie," one of his representatives told ESPN's Kris Rhim on Monday night.  Brown was dealt to the 76ers this past summer in a blockbuster deal that sent Paul George to the Celtics. That gave the 76ers another piece to pair with Joel Embiid and LeBron James, who they also signed in free agency after he left the Los Angeles Lakers. But on Monday, former Celtics player and NBC Sports Boston analyst Brian Scalabrine said that Brown requested a trade out of Boston and that he had a list of demands. Pretty explosive stuff here from Brian Scalabrine: "My understanding of this thing is that (Jaylen Brown) demanded to be traded. Not through the media, but to the organization." ... "My understanding is that Jaylen Brown went to the organization and had a list of demands, and… https://t.co/GC7fpjc7qh— Zack Cox (@zm_cox) October 26, 2026 "My understanding of this thing is that he demanded to be traded," Scalabrine said. "Not through the media, but to the organization … My understanding is that Jaylen Brown went to the organization and had a list of demands, and it was like, 'You either do this, or you trade me.'" That, Brown's representative said, never happened. While a deal centered on former Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo fell through, Boston told Brown that he was going to be traded anyways. His only request, the representative said, was to have input on his destination.  Scalabrine walked his comments back Monday night, but stood by his claim that Brown had a list of demands. But, according to Brown's camp, the only other request he had was that he and Jayson Tatum were treated equally. "I don't know what the ultimatum was or the demands or whatever it was," Scalabrine said on Monday night. "So technically, he did not demand to be traded. It was, 'Do these things right here, or else.' And one of them might have been, 'Give me the $140 million extension.' "I haven't gotten to the bottom of all that. I didn't even know this was going to be a thing. It's one of those things that lived in my mind for months. I finally used it because we were talking about the weirdest stuff, and then now it's out there." Tatum-Brown controversy still ongoing The Tatum-Brown conversation picked back up last week after Brown posted a blue hat emoji on Instagram in response to a video that Tatum posted in which he claimed he was also caught off guard by Brown's trade to Philadelphia. Tatum, Brown insulated, was lying. Regardless of who is telling the truth there, it is certainly awkward to see two former teammates who won a championship together interacting like that.  Tatum downplayed it after the Celtics' win over the New York Knicks on Friday, and even invoked the infamous feud between Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant.  "This ain't no f***ing Shaq and Kobe. There's no beef," Tatum said. "It's not about that. It should be more praise. I understand that don't necessarily sell and drama gets clicks and views, but that's not my thing." Brown followed suit a day later, though he was far less clear.  "We've accomplished some great things. He's a hell of a basketball player," Brown said. "He's got a great PR team.  "There's no beef, but it might be a little lamb chops and some gravy. He should stay ready at all times." Regardless, Brown's split from Tatum and the Celtics wasn't an easy one. He was frustrated after being moved despite being the team's clear MVP in his final season. Tatum has downplayed the move and tried to distance himself from any decisions that were made. Clearly, things are still awkward.  But the idea that he demanded to be moved apparently never happened.

Gamer News - Amazon's Lord of the Rings Gandalf Costume Has Dropped to Its Lowest Price of the Year: October 31 is nearly here and time is running out to buy yourself a costume. This is the week that Spirit Halloween… #LordOfTheRings #GandalfCostume #HalloweenCostume #SpiritHalloween #AmazonDeals

ign.comAmazon's Lord of the Rings Gandalf Costume Has Dropped to Its Lowest Price of the YearOctober 31 is nearly here and time is running out to buy yourself a costume. This is the week that Spirit Halloween starts to look fully picked over and popular costumes become incredibly scarce. Thankfully, If you happen to have an Amazon Prime membership, there are a number of options still available that will actually ship to you on time. And if you're a Lord of the Rings fan specifically, this official Gandalf costume is an excellent choice for the price. At $36.33 for the XL size, it's surprisingly affordable for an officially licensed costume. It doesn't come with a fake beard or a wig, but if you already have either of those things then you're set. And if you don't, you should be able to find that still in stock somewhere before Halloween. The costume you are buying here is specifically the robe, hat, and belt that were designed after the iconic wizard from Middle-earth. This is a version of Gandalf the Gray, as seen in The Hobbit movie, rather than the more majestic Gandalf the White we got in the later LOTR movies. Like most affordable costumes, it's made of 100% polyester, which means you probably don't want to toss it into the wash with the rest of your clothes. The main issue with this costume, like I mentioned above, is that it isn't exactly complete. If you want to look like Gandalf and not just some random wizard, you will need a gray beard and a gray wig. You'll also likely want some sort of gnarled staff, which can honestly just be a cool tree branch you find in the forest. Thankfully Amazon also has a perfect wig and beard combo in stock that will arrive before Halloween. When Is the Last Day to Buy a Costume on Amazon? At the time of writing, this costume is eligible for two-day Prime shipping, which means it will arrive three days before the actual holiday. Not everything at Amazon is available that fast, but you can assume that there will always be something available within that two-day window on Amazon. That means the last day to buy a costume online is likely October 29, but that will be cutting it really close.

NBA News - How Jalen Williams’ gruesome leg injury could alter Thunder’s title hopes: It became clear it was so bad – even in the first seconds after it happened – that a trainer rushed over to throw a towel over the ankle, hiding it… #JalenWilliams #OKCThunder #NBATitle #InjuryUpdate #NBAPlayoffs

sports.yahoo.comHow Jalen Williams’ gruesome leg injury could alter Thunder’s title hopesIt became clear it was so bad – even in the first seconds after it happened – that a trainer rushed over to throw a towel over the ankle, hiding it from view. Oklahoma City Thunder star Jalen Williams, a 2024-25 All-Star and one of the bright young players in the NBA, suffered a seemingly devastating lower leg injury Sunday, Oct. 26. And though the Thunder haven’t issued a formal diagnosis, the way Williams’ left ankle dangled sideways off his foot strongly suggests that Williams’ season is over just three games after it started. So now the Thunder, who entered the season as favorites to win NBA Finals, must regroup, because this injury – assuming it’s as bad as it looked – changes the pathway for Oklahoma City moving forward. Because the overwhelming notion for this Thunder team was that it was a strong favorite because Williams was finally healthy. Williams, the team’s second best player, missed significant chunks last season as he recovered from offseason wrist surgery. Then, late in the year and into the playoffs, it was multiple soft-tissue hamstring injuries. So now, two-time reigning Most Valuable Player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, once again, will have bear more of a burden. Williams can handle the ball and initiate offense. He can slash to the basket and has a dependable perimeter jumper. He’s a plus defender and is often the anchor through which the Thunder run their offense when Gilgeous-Alexander is catching a breath on the bench. When available, he is a staple, having started 238 of his 251 career regular season games. The loss is massive. "These are tough, man," Thunder coach Mark Daigneault said after the game. "We’re not doing great. That’s tough on the guys. Everyone empathizes, I think both teams, in those situations. We’re not doing great." Yet, if there is any team in the NBA built to weather the loss of a player like Williams, it’s the Thunder. No team has been better at identifying and developing young players through the draft, and Oklahoma City is the deepest team in the entire association. They have options. Thunder's depth provides options after Jalen Williams injury In fact, the Thunder are so deep that they can alter whom they start at small forward in place of Williams, depending on the matchup. The first indication of how the Thunder plan to make up for the loss of Williams comes fewer than 24 hours after he suffered the injury; Oklahoma City hosts the Phoenix Suns Monday, Oct. 26 on the second leg of their back-to-back. The cleanest move is for Daigneault to replace Williams in the starting lineup with Alex Caruso, a veteran guard who specializes on defense. Caruso is nowhere near as talented as Williams on offense, though his perimeter shot has been a spark off the bench; Caruso is shooting a blistering 45.5% from 3-point range this season. Each of starting guard Cason Wallace, who also suffered an injury Sunday night, one to his shoulder, and reserve guards Ajay Mitchell and Jared McCain will likely see increased minutes and responsibility. Daigneault likes to have a serviceable ball-handling creator on the floor when Gilgeous-Alexander heads to the bench, so it makes sense on some level for both Mitchell and McCain to come off the bench. Rookie guard Bennett Stirtz will also be called up for spot minutes. Thunder's injury history prepared SGA, team to weather long season This, unfortunately for the Thunder, is a familiar spot. They pushed the San Antonio Spurs to seven games in the 2026 Western Conference Finals despite injuries to Williams and Mitchell. Because the pair are Oklahoma City’s best offensive engines not named Gilgeous-Alexander, the team’s offense stagnated under San Antonio’s defense. In previous seasons, it was Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein who were knocked out for extensive stretches because of injury. This is all to say that, in many ways, the Thunder are used to this. But as much as Oklahoma City is built to mitigate the loss of a star like Williams, one devastating fact is clear, and it’s a fact the team must contend with the rest of the season, assuming the injury ends Williams’ campaign. The Thunder today are not as strong as they were yesterday, and that’s indisputable. This article originally appeared on USA TODAY: How Jalen Williams’ gruesome leg injury could alter Thunder’s title hopes
