I just remembered that when the Cubs won the World Series, they broke a 108-year curse and unleashed a decade of chaos and dark magic upon the world. And it just hit me. The Brewers winning the World Series isn’t just about baseball anymore. It’s our only chance to restore balance to the universe.

I'm not sure what the sub teacher is doing right now, but we are ahead if Smack's doing the lesson plans and that kid is kicking for us today.

TALARICO: “You want to know why they are spending $200 million against me? Because I don't take their money, and I never will. I don't work for them. I work for you.”

Hope this isn't behind a paywall. She's awesome, & we wish she was on the national broadcasts. Her ability to flip on the Spanish is top notch and a great piece of the puzzle. Let's go! Cooper Pratt dropped down a bunt and nearly beat Freeman’s toss to Hernández at first base. Trading an out for a better chance of eking out a run against Skubal matters in a game in which the margins are thin.... from the Athletic today. Maybe Murph knew what he was doing when he benched Pratt...Hmm

Keeping both Yelich and Frelick back to face righties seems solid today. I thought Lara would get some run for the first non-Chourio outfielder who went 0 for 2 against the Padres. Let's go!

If you live in a Country where you can watch a livestream of an EXECUTION by Firing Squad, but not a Talk Show with a Comedian like Steven Colbert, you might not be living in a Democracy...

Livestreaming the Fort Hood shooter’s execution is wrong. The U.S. hasn’t held a public execution in nearly a century, for good reason: it risks unconstitutional cruelty, harm to minors, and more violence, including to troops. Congress must act now. www.pogo.org/press-center...

Dodgers are the Dodgers, but I think the Padres were the 2nd best team in baseball. I was worried about this series. They were scorching hot to end the season, swept us a month ago, and matched up player for player. I thought we were better, but they were a close second. Huge series win! Let's go!

Probably the most succinct explanation of where we're at in this country I've heard in a long time. Now he just needs to work to do something about it.

Pete Hegseth gave a speech in front of a backdrop that almost perfectly matches Nazi imagery. Meanwhile, Trump calls opponents “vermin” who he will “root out,” and says the blood of our country is being poisoned. We are far past left vs right. Our choice is democracy or fascism.

Bottom of the 9th Bases loaded Two outs Down by one Jackson Chourio provided an all-time moment for Milwaukee 😤

Trying to put my Murph brain on to see why he thinks it’s May on Tuesday. Super, super short leash with Bobby Gas on deck? I get the experience piece, but he’s been crappy almost completely since we got him. I think Gas has earned game 3. Hope it works out no matter. 🧹 🧹

To all pro sports leagues: Broadcast crew for playoff games = team selected color person from team 1, network play by play person, selected color person from team 2. Fans win big with that format.

I'm already sick of these guys blowing sunshine on the Padres. 70 to 30 in positive comments and wishful thinkings for a Padres win imo

Murph did everything in his power to give Yeli a psych edge. We need him to hit in this series and then the next two. Not homers necessarily - just hits, move guys, take your walks, score some runs. Series clinching dinger would be ok too. Let's go!

I’ve known many other defense secretaries, starting with Cap Weinberger, who served as defense secretary under Reagan. I can say without fear of contradiction that Pete Hegseth is the stupidest and least qualified of them all. He is a danger to the entire world. He must be impeached.

It's when a president illegally confiscates money appropriated by Congress for a specific purpose because he decides, after the appropriation becomes law, that he doesn't like it. The fact that the Republican Congress ignores that is another reason they should be voted out. bsky.app/profile/atru...

Worst president and worst regime in U.S. history. Let’s start extracting the cancer and making them accountable on Election Day.

Sophia is a great piece of this broadcast team. Knowledgeable, calm, and the translation piece is huge. The relaxed interview she has with the Latin guys (except for Baby Lara who could possibly still be afraid of her), is just awesome. I’m surprised she hasn’t been poached and hope she doesn’t!

Not sure how you go through the off season and training camp with this offensive line group and think, ‘Yeah. We’re good here’ 3 and 13. Gutey owns that

Who would have guessed trump would have incoherently blathered all morning and made things much worse without so much as a tip of that hat to intelligence or wisdom. Huh.

I am getting serious 1970s vibes from this version of the Packers. The rest of the league is going to enjoy taking this team to the shed
