Well, sometimes it just needs to be shared that the only cake I really enjoy, and could potentially eat too much of, is carrot cake with pecans covered in cream cheese frosting! Here is the real thing BEFORE I took the first bite! I saved half of it and nibble on it every evening after my pills!

After the Pimiento dinner we listened to Celtic Thunder! These two handsome Irish lads sang and danced to the delight of all, then autographed clothing and had photos taken with members of the crowd!

Me installing a crushed gravel path to access a tiny home behind this house for Jeanne, suffering from cancer! My daughters are helping in the one photo and then the whole team in the final one, Jeanne in the center! Sadly, she passed away, but the path and the tiny home remain! 🌱 #PNWGardening

The ashes have fully disrobed their bright yellow foliage! Standing starkly nude, their shiny black fingers, arms and torsoes are firmly prepared for the rainy season to come! The maples are now taking their turn showing off red, orange and burnt sienna vestments! 🌱 #PNWGardening

We are leaving the condo! Sad, but looking forward to returning to cool weather and home! The first is before the dawn, then as we were leaving, the sun had peeked over the mountains. All from our balcony!

Roger and I walked to Kahuna Ridge filled with many multimillion dollar homes with gorgeous views! Here is one of the views for you, dear followers! We got in 4.5 miles on the early morning hike! 🌱

The “Monkey pod trees shading the parking area of our condo are huge and beautiful! Bravo to the Hono Koa for keeping them here, because they provide homes and roosts for numerous birds! I have seen many condos which have cut down their beautiful trees saying they are messy! 🌱

Finally the view inside this humble and very successful shop! Highest seller, their King David Cinnamon Rolls! Also they sell other pastries like loaves of sourdough bread and croissants. Worth the wait, but just one time! I took one back which was enough for Barb and me to share as breakfast!

Here are the photos as we moved to the door. Looking into the screened widow at Papi spreading sweet goodness on the cinnamon rolls, Roger giving his knees some rest, entering the door, looking around inside! They serve up to 500 customers by 2 pm and close when they sell out! Delicious, voted #1

Today Roger and I left our Maui condo at 6 am to walk to Papi OHana’s pastry and Pizza shop. We got there at 6:45. It opened at 7 am right on time! The line was long and snaked around the block. It took an hour and 15 minutes to wait and slowly move!

Yours truly with Barb, Roger and Sue in the cacao orchard, the logo, the place, and of course some of the delicious melt in your mouth chocolates! Much better than Hersheys and other east coast chocolates or even most European chocolates! Much like a pure “melt in your mouth “Belgian chocolate. 🌱

Maui Cacao plantation and Chocolate factory. Our Guide Reissi showing off the cacao tree and fruit, the cacao fruit pods,The cacao flowers, one cacao planataion block& the cacao foliage! Botanical name is Theobroma cacao = drink of the gods! Epic meal in a treehouse set in the Cacao farm! 🌱

Tropical flowers along out walk this morning: Mussaenda, Plumeria, Alamanda, beach Vitex Crinum and Bird of Paradise! It makes a walk so much more fun to play, “try to taxonomically figure out what that blooming plant is”! 🌱
