The future of the Democratic Party must be rooted in investing in the American people — not Wall St., corporations, and consultants. Otherwise, Trumpism will continue to use cynicism, racism, and distrust to divide America.

Monarez: "Kennedy demanded 2 things of me that were were inconsistent w/ my oath of office. He directed me to commit in advance to approving every ACIP recommendation regardless of the scientific evidence. He also directed me to dismiss career officials responsible for vaccine policy without cause"

it's a new day at HHS of trying to figure out who was RIF'd, who was reinstated from a RIF, who took the DRP, who retired, which probationary folks were fired and which are still on admin leave. Peak efficiency!

Remember, during an economic downturn, the wealth gap always ends up expanding. The wealthy love these periods, despite what they say in public, because they have the reserves to buy at a discount & reap long-term gains. Middle-class investors have to pull back to stay afloat and gain nothing.

Kamala Harris could not even sit down for a long form podcast. Her campaign amounted to a widespread money laundering operation. Anyone who thinks she was remotely a good candidate is delusional and part of the problem. Demand better from the DNC!

the scene this morning at Parklawn was pretty heartbreaking. People learned they were RIF'd when their PIV wouldn't let them in the building. This is how they're treating our fellow Americans, with no dignity whatsoever.

If 30% of federal workers are vets, cutting those jobs doesn’t just shrink the government. It wrecks lives. Vets are 5% of the civilian workforce but 30% of federal jobs. Layoffs hit them 6x harder. This isn't reform. It's betrayal. Sources: nymag.com/intelligence... surface.syr.edu/ivmf/486/ And:

I respect Hegseth and Waltz for their military service, but neither has any business being in such high-level positions. Neither was ready for it, clearly. Being loyal to Trump can't be the only requirement for national security jobs.

Hegseth story doesn't surprise me one bit. Outside of the womanizing & alcoholism, he is a complete moron. He's the low IQ idiot that the right wing goes on and on about only existing in the Democratic party.

The war in Gaza is heating up, Russia gave Trump a fake win and agreed to a half assed ceasefire, there is mass confusion in the federal government with hiring and firing thousands of people, and the economy is in the toilet. This is all the winning they talked about before the election I suppose.

15 yrs ago today I was coming back from my first Afghanistan deployment ("the surge") Kinda depressing seeing my Facebook post, reading the replies and realizing I don't even talk to any of the friends I had back then. I guess that's life.

Elon says he wants to double Tesla production for the next 2 yrs. This guy is truly a genius, let me tell you... When hardly anyone is buying your product, and projected consumer demand is extremely low, the best strategy is to produce even more of your low selling, low demand product🤦‍♂️😂

Poland is one of the best allies America has, and Trump is allowing some S.African to denigrate them while holding a top position in the US government. Every day is a new embarrassment! 🇵🇱 🇵🇱 🇵🇱
