Ok, so a quick google search finds that in 2023, it cost $190 a day to detain one person being held in an ICE facility. I’m sure the cost has increased slightly. In 2022 the average cost of someone on government assistance was $10 a day. Republican math says it worth deporting hard working people.

Has anyone asked what it costs to detain and hold each person ICE has abducted vs the fiscal amount these same detainees contribute to our tax system?
