🇪🇺 Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has reshaped Europe’s geopolitical landscape & accelerated the strategic importance of #EUEnlargement towards the Eastern candidate countries. The 1st “Friends of the Eastern Candidates (FoEC) Network” meeting discussed this new momentum for enlargement.

This first meeting of the FoEC Network brought together MEPs, representatives of progressive political parties from the Eastern candidate countries, policymakers, academics and civil society representatives to explore how progressive cooperation can better contribute to their European future. ↗
