We have over 40 years of god-tier games developed without the use of AI. From a consumer standpoint (especially one that cares where her $ goes), a AAA company using AI to wholly code a game shows me that you're spineless and cheap in your process, and have no faith in your human staff.

There are so, so, SO many of us composers out there, and a vast majority of us are willing to work within your budget. Some of us are happy to work for free, with the promise of a percentage of the game's revenue. There is NEVER a reason to resort to generative AI slop music. NEVER. TALK TO US.

An AI-generated soundtrack for a game that isn’t even out—and probably never will be—already has 45,000+ streams on Spotify. This is not okay. nowplaying.cool/slowly-but-s...

nowplaying.coolSlowly but surely, AI music is carving out a place for itself in video game musicAI music is quietly infiltrating the world of VGM. From solo devs using it for efficiency to mysterious studios farming fraudulent streams with "fake" soundtracks, the line between innovation and industry-wide scamming is becoming increasingly thin
