Was walking through Ljubljana today. There were people waiting in line for literal hours in front of the Serbian embassy. We saw the whole historic part of the city, went up to the castle, stayed there for a few hours, admired the picturesque sunset...

In my youth I saw this film, where the protagonist and the shoguns wife fall in love, but they don't act on it. Then, for political reasons, he gets accused of sleeping with the shoguns wife and is sentenced to death. Before the execution, he meets up with her and they sleep together...

When I worked in a small town computer store circa 2003, we called this stuff "malware," and most of our customers paid us to get it off their machines. They just remade BonzaiBuddy while telling us it's good now.

One of the things I fail to get with companies making games/movies with AI, because "its so much faster!!" is: why? There are already way more games/movies being made than we can consume. The way to get attention for your thing is to make it good, not fast. The day still only has 24h...

very great idea: "I should make a video game!" great idea: "Let's give it an emotional moment, like the death of a pet or smth!" good idea: "I should put some sad music to it!" not so good idea: "I should listen to some sad songs for research!" note to self: never listen to "monsters" again 😭😭😭

youtube.com/shorts/8RhiB... A gear where the last piece takes billions of years to complete one rotation, so it was embedded into a concrete block, because might as well. It still breaks my mind that one side is always in motion while the other one is completely still...

Art question 🎨 What painting, photograph, sculpture, or piece of visual art has stayed with you long after you first saw it? Not necessarily your favorite. The one that lingered.

Happy to share this! @isaillustration.bsky.social creates stunning artwork! Go treat yourself to an artwork of hers!

Hi have some open commission slots around September! I'm Isa a German illustrator who works with Magic The Gathering, book publishers, and various other commercial clients. Isabeau.Backhaus@outlook.de isabeaubackhausillustration.de I would appreciate it if some of you share my work 🖤

Oh Boy, what a day. Worked on the prototype till 2am, went to the designer meetup, showed 3 of my game prototypes to a publisher (who took none, but that's ok), met up with a Canadian designer in the evening and tested prototypes of mrs Fersus and me till now. I'm done (in a good way)

I teamed up with another board game designer and we try to make a prototype for *checks calendar* this Saturday. I took the day off today so I could work all night on the game. I had such an awesome time. I whish that'd be a viable career, that'd be so awesome!

We saw two young foxes today 😍. Real live out in the wild! We stared each other down for like 20 seconds, but when we tried to get our cameras that was too much movement for them and they darted off.

Today's "Dune" session (the bought one, not mine ^^): meetup at 14:00, chatting and rules recap till 15:00. we played until 22:45 with half an hour break for dinner. So just shy of 8 hours. One game. Half that time would have been nice, but never the less such a great game :)
