Alarmed and saddened by the amount of professional artists I am spotting that are using AI, and that no one seems to be catching on. I'm not into starting witch hunts but it is very disheartening.

I don't know how to tell you guys this but there are mid tier and pro level artists PAINTING OVER AI right now.

I think what feels the worst is seeing fellow artists succumb to this stuff, because 1: Feels Bad 2: Average viewers/clients cannot tell when you mix AI with a talented painter.

Alarmed and saddened by the amount of professional artists I am spotting that are using AI, and that no one seems to be catching on. I'm not into starting witch hunts but it is very disheartening.

Surely I am not the only professional in this field silently taking note of these people. I just don't want to be in the middle of "exposing" people but man it's sad to see clients that are anti AI hiring artists that use AI, followers I care about following/commenting on AI not knowing.

Fun fact: when I was a teenager I used to do full color drawings entirely out of sharpies all day every day 7 days a week huffing those fumes and sometimes I just think about my braincells and wonder 🤔

I didn't have any nice markers or anything, and colored pencils were never vibrant enough. My mom got me a huge sharpie rainbow pack on big discount and I just used them all until they were dry and then just went to using black ones 😭

IfOUNd some of them yaoi uke SpongeBob lined in sharped colored with pencils oh my god, I was so ahead of my time
