I think the percentage of people who GENUINELY can't tell the difference is so small. There's a difference between that and "I know it's not real, I just don't want to subject myself to it / don't want this content in my space"

i keep getting ads on ig for those like 8 inch hidden height boost boots and on one hand it's very tempting. but on the other my ONLY identifiable trait as a cosplayer is that i'm the size of an elementary schooler. will people even know me without that.......

i think they tried to do this with chibi but it's a smaller event in a completely different part of LA county like six months after the fact. i haven't been to chibi but that must feel disconnected no???
