Also Maxon's installer is trash, I got Cloudflare popups, it seems to be basically a vibecoded browser in a window, which hates VPNs for some reason...required account, hidden download links, sneaky marketing optional dark pattern tick boxes...so many hoops just to download a FREE program!

Dunno why Kinda and Castrovalva are so beloved in Doctor Who fandom? I think I saw bits of these at the time, I recognise them.... Castrovalva is so slow, and so much faffing around moving a box around. The foldy-space thing is cool, but 3/4ths of it is bad acting and wallpaper!

I wish Pixelmator Pro or even Photocraft had the same text editing chops as Affinity. It seems very few image editors allow the most basic of typography like having a colour background for text. Not a paragraph box, actual type background. Bloated as it is, even Photoshop still doesn't do this?!
