I’m so thank you, guys, for your kind words. Really. Sometimes I cry while reading words of support, and then I calm down. It happens from time to time again. Thank you!

(1) A week ago, my mom passed away. She had been ill for a long time, and after my dad died (which happened around this time last October, a year ago), she decided to stop treatment.

(2) With everything else going on in the world around me, all of these events have really thrown me off balance. I feel vulnerable. But I don’t really have any other choice than to pull myself together and keep living my life.

(3) I want to finish my current commission and start taking on new ones, but I’ve kind of hit a wall and can’t seem to get myself to work on anything else yet. I’m still trying to decide whether the new ones should be YCHs or just regular commissions.

"Heart of Mine" The world may take much from a man, yet sometimes grace remains in the small arms around his neck, and in the son who still calls him home. ☀️ #warcraft #bloodelf #sindorei #art

So excited to share this illustration I had the pleasure of creating for Bloomberg Businessweek for the article “The Steamy, Magical and Now Very Lucrative Romantasy Business” by Hannah Miller and Madison Muller. Such a fun one to work on! Art direction by Chandra Illick.

(1) I'm going through a rough patch right now (yeah, another one - though honestly, it's all just the same continuous one with emotional rollercoasters) and yet another art-block. I turned to fantasy book to dive into that world and distract myself.
