Public health is a web and that’s what makes it powerful. 🕸️ Like 🕷️ Spider Man building webs to catch and save people, public health connects people, communities, resources, and support systems to help keep communities safe and healthy. Every connection matters. Every strand makes the web stronger. 🕷️

Also to be perfectly clear - normal ass career CDC staff did *not* do this or participate in it. This was a boys club leadership gathering that *some* career staff were forced to witness, and we should be grateful they were brave enough to bring this attrocity to light.
Today at CDC they had a "celebration" for Jay. Someone heard the doge boys in IOD say “Welcome to the party” AT THE FUQING PLAQUE DEDICATION for the officer that died one year ago during CDC attack to someone. They’re all just having a big party...
🎉 Let's celebrate all wins, including small ones.🎊 Keep up the pressure. Aug 3, 2026, U.S. Senate released text of the continuing resolution (CR), & it INCLUDES language to delay implementation of OMB-2026-0034, which is OMB’s proposed Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance, until Dec 11, 2026.
AP News Mike Stobbe wrote "NPHC, an organization of former & current CDC workers, was not reassured by her responses & said senators should require specific written commitments from Schwartz on 🖊️scientific independence, 🖊️evidence-based vaccine policy, 🖊️conflicts of interest & 🖊️other issues." 1/2 🧵
“'The public needed to hear clear commitments about how she would protect CDC guidance from political pressure,' the group said in a statement. 'Too often, her stated commitments were incomplete, vague, or missing.'” 2/2 🧵 apnews.com/article/cdc-...
