We just have to hope for one next time because what we have at the moment is the antithesis of smart. "Trump criticises AI boss who called for slowdown and says only guardrail needed is a 'smart president'"

Anyone think that the real reason for him sending family for meetings with Putin is for humpty dumpty to go there with his insider trading profits when the Epstein papers finally get fully released?

I think maybe he needs to employ ICE to detain all the invading air.....smh Trump says US being 'invaded by filthy air' as he threatens Canada with tariffs over wildfires

The end of the Biathlon season has happened. Great races to finish but boy its depressing to have to wait 8 months until it starts again. Lost some favorites that have retired and that always saddens me too even though they are going on to enrich their lives.

So Idiot in chief starts an illegal war, then expects others to come and save him from the consequences of it after its clear he fkd up. Thats not how it works, its going to be another war that the USA started, claimed they won while tucking their tail between their legs and leaving.

Fighting with bronchitis atm, anti bios, steroids and cough stuff yet still wheezing like an old man (that I am I guess haha). Worst feeling is coughing and the anxiety that you cant get air in your lungs to breathe between the coughing fits. Trying to sleep through most of it, Im not coughing then.

Thought he said it wasnt a war as he didnt have the authority to start one?? hmmm Kind of funny this coming from an American "leader" "We don’t need people that join Wars after we’ve already won!" he adds.

Yesterday we took our beloved cat Aero for his last trip. He never liked traveling - I remembered when we first got him 18 years ago at just maybe 5 weeks old from the shelter and how he meowed a scared meow as he clung onto his new mommy as I drove home. He meowed the same way on his final trip 1/

I am sorry Aero, know you will be with your mother forever and when she passes you will be next to her then too. You were an amazing cat and we will miss you the rest of our lives.

We left saying all the right things that we didnt want him hurting and it was the best for him while our hearts were broken. the home isnt the same, we have other cats but they arent Aero. It will hurt every morning when its feed time and every night when he would get on the bed with his mom. 7/

I know it was the right thing to do but Im here after midnight with the house quite, everyone asleep with the guilt that I murdered our loved cat. I paid for it. I am, a 60 yr old man, weeping at the loss while saying sorry to Aero, so much sadness, trying to keep from being too loud while I cry 8/

I slipped out to the front to do the paperwork and pay, then went back into the room for the last goodbye, trying to stroke his body as gently as possible so it didnt hurt. I looked him in the eyes and broke, had to look away and suppress it - I was trying to be the strong one here. 5/

They came in, checked we were ready then the Dr came in, shaved a little patch to insert the final needle. He didnt last long at all, maybe 10 seconds - he was ready and he was gone to wherever we hope pure souls go. We wrapped the blanket around him for him to be cremated and returned to us 6/

His mommy who he had loved and who loved him throughout the past 18 years, stroked him and she wept, making sure he knew he was loved and he purred telling her it was alright and thank you for the whole life of love he had received and given. This wasnt any cat, it was the one - owners know. 3/

I was there, trying to keep it together, loving him no less but knowing he was mommys boy. They came and sedated him, to let him be comfortable as the final goodbyes were said. He relaxed, into his catnip stoner like way he got (he loved his catnip). 4/

He had been losing weight for 6 months and was barely more than skin and bone but until the last few days he still had a grumpy old mans quality of life. When he stopped eating and barely drinking or walking, we knew it was time. At the destination we got him out onto a blanket and made him comfy 2/

Not the way to have to start the New Year, saying goodbye to Aero, our cat we got from the rescue when he was just a few weeks old that hugged onto us as we drove him home so many years ago. He is ready to go and if he doesnt pass in the night we have to find somewhere to let him rest.

Ugh, Amazon Haul is a nightmare, My first order was in two packages, first one was missing parts, the second one got delivered to the wrong state! First and last time of using that service.

Yet another great Secret Cinema at Harkins Theatres last night. Eternity was a wonderfully entertaining movie, getting loud laughs throughout the cinema on several occasions while pulling at the heart strings in the Rom Com fashion. Had me thinking where I would want to spend my eternity :)

Off to grab my free birthday desert (cherry cheesecake jar) on Monday from Slim Chickens followed by Harkins for their Secret Cinema showing. I have yet to be disappointed by a Secret Cinema movie yet and have seen many movies I wouldn't have actually gone to normally. The $5 price cant be beaten.

Seeing Garbage on what they called the final night of their tour (they had one a few days later in their home town) was an amazing birthday present to myself - Loved them for over 30 years <3
