Kit Frith

Some photos from my work trip to California. I had a lot of tex mex and some truly bad coffee (but also the best piece of cake in my life).

Oooh, it's time for my #shoptember already! Starting tomorrow. Where did September sneak up from?!

I usually participate in an art challenge in September, and this year I asked people for my own prompts, so many thanks to everyone who came to our @sequential-scot.bsky.social table and helped me build my shop-tember list!

I went to my first #mtg draft last weekend. Lost a bunch, but got some good goblin cards and then went with @neilslorance.com for a lot of pizza.

Books in the photo include Catcophony and a Spell bundle from @goblinpurwin.bsky.social, We Said Goodbye to Gravity and Jacques and the Great Art Theft by @chrisbaldie.bsky.social, Introduction to Charts by @chrissywilliams.bsky.social and @tomhumberstone.com...

All set up with @catsinook.bsky.social at @sequential-scot.bsky.social

Hey, it’s @sequential-scot.bsky.social tomorrow! Head to Glasgow Doubletree and get yourself some comics and art. @catsinook.bsky.social and I will be at table 45 in the cool cat corner.

Had a lovely time playing #bigwalk by @househouse.com . As the sun set at the beach, our glowy orb thing accidentally rolled into the sea and I watched @catsinook.bsky.social splash about to bring it back. #fanart

Another DM rotates in, so a new party and a new character. Meet my rogue named Rose Gold. #dnd #ttrpg

📢 Exhibitor announcements! Please welcome @elljwalker.bsky.social, @emilychappell.bsky.social, @emseeitch.bsky.social, @firstmadekit.uk, François Giro, and Frank O'Neil. 📖 Get tickets at sequentialscotland.co.uk

Went for a lovely sunny coffee this morning. This is me and @edinsnicestboy.bsky.social with each other's dogs.

I know there are big issues in the world demanding serious discussion, but that Khan-Cumberbatch magic card is wack.

You can spot me on here!

In their final week of trading, here is my pic of Hot Doughnut’s eldritch terror of a mascot. Glasgow will miss you, except in our nightmares.

An excellent time snarfing Sears pizza in the sunshine.

Headed down (with a sleepy Pocket Joe) to the Briggait for Glasgow Zine Festival and saw some lovely stuff.

This was a really fun game to run, but I can't believe it's been five years already! @undead8bit.bsky.social did an amazing job with this design and it's incredible having such a talented artist realise your idea better than it is in your own head!

Hurrah! We're heading back to @sequential-scot.bsky.social in August! Hope to see ALL OF YOU there!

I will always drop everything to read an article about the movie Sneakers, and this is a real good one.

I’ve been getting back into #magicthegathering and I’ve remembered all the frustrating situations you find yourself in and tried to imagine them as cards. #mtg

@neilslorance.com is truly the plant daddy (check out his comic!)

Go vote! 🍃 #dogsatpollingstations 📷 - @firstmadekit.uk @scottishgreens.org

Tables for Sequential close tomorrow, I'd strongly recommend applying or attending if you can. It is exactly the type of convention and people that got me wanting to make comics and zines.

Yessss! Sequential last year was such a great event. So glad it's back.

March really should be the first month of the year, and this one is starting to shape up for me. I'll be tabling at Thoughtbubble. Off to California in September and Japan in November, and just got tickets to see Sigur Ros and the SCO in Glasgow (so I'll be listening to them all day today). Heck yes

@catsinook.bsky.social and I will be tabling at @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social comic convention in November!

I loved the original game and I’m really enjoying the sequel - it flows perfectly from the first; pulling my heartstrings again. Glad to be back in that soundtrack too. @planetoflana.bsky.social #planetoflana

I’ve had to pick my faves in some franchises here (such as all of the LucasArts P&Cs). The dream is clearly a story-driven sci-fi fantasy RPG with some mystery / puzzle elements. #my9games

🔥 New INHIBIT guest art from @firstmadekit.uk! ⚡ Check it out at inhibitcomic.com

“I admire its purity…” #alien #xenomorph

@catsinook.bsky.social is running an Obojima: Tales from the Tall Grass campaign. Here's my cranky old mechanic I'm gonna play. #obojima @obojima.bsky.social

I had a brilliant 4 weeks streaming @luckshotgames.com's BIG HOPS (only an hour a day, I'm not that bad a gamer) and thank you to @firstmadekit.uk's artwork here to celebrate the completion! ✨ A lovely platformer very worth your time/weeks 🐸

We’re watching #startrek TNG and @catsinook.bsky.social is delighted every time that Q shows up.
