i’ve been thinking about this weekend a lot, and i just wanted to put into words what it meant to me. i’m so eternally grateful. seeing something whisper and i dreamed up after somna actually come to life, and seeing it mean something to so many people has been beyond anything i could’ve imagined.

i don’t think i’ll be applying next year. i want to spend this next year helping the people around me bring their dreams to life, and growing my own skills. i want to help the people i am fortunate enough to have in my life make beautiful things. i want to see their stories.

it showed me that i do have a home. i have friends who love me, and appreciate me for… me. i have people who believe in me, who look up to me, and who were moved by my story. and for the first time in a long time, i feel truly satisfied with something i created.

i’ve spent a lot of my life feeling like i didn’t really belong anywhere, like i wasn’t good enough, or like my place in people’s lives was unwanted. this weekend proved something to me.
