I rly love TV shows throughout the decades, I know pretty much only American TV shows from before the 90s let it be known, but it's a rly good look at the climate of the (American in this instance) family structure and social politics in a.... Weird way sometimes

One of Trout's cousins is gonna be a hunting dog :0 they're showline but the hunt and chase drive is strong (ask me how I know 🫩) so she could be successful! I've been thinking about trying trout on a drag scent and treed hide to get a feel of his instinct for it

Going on a little date tomorrow :) very excited, we might go downtown and actually look around since we rly haven't before or hmmm maybe the mall, it's mostly dead but I can't lie I love the atmosphere of a dead mall

I do think it's difficult to find good gynecologists sometimes though, I've had some good ones and this time I went even further and found one who might be the best, we'll see. I know down in the south I've had problems getting birth control and a lot of laughing off the need bc I'm married 🫩

People online sharing gynecological experiences shouldn't become fear mongering but it does 😭 quit telling young people with uteruses that pap smears are awful, if they're painful you should tell your doctor but you NEED to get them if you have any chance of uterine cancer my guys

Same with birth control man, getting IUD did suck and there's a lot of problems with the pain management recommended before and after but birth control is a life saver in more ways than just preventing pregnancy, I fear

Not to mention the autonomy gained from having birth control lmao I feel like that gets over looked a lot. Certain forms just aren't for you and that's fine, hormonal birth controls fuck with me a lot so there's the IUD and I've decided I'm 100% not having kids so now I'm getting sterilized

The trick to the cute pics of trout with his head in between his paws is ask for a down stay, scatter treats between his paws and then do something to make him look up with his eyes lol

Trout probably could've been "easier" to crate train with different tactics but we took the lure and reward approach and had him take all his naps in there and, while he will take naps and settle down while we're gone, I don't think he'll ever particularly like his kennel and that's ok imo

His breeder also had trouble with his crate training and she starts it early with her puppies. He gets attached to his people and always wants to be involved so that separation particularly sucks for him. He's better about it now, it's helped us avoid bad separation anxiety too
