I cannot be the only one who is alarmed, dismayed, or just cynical about the so-called Board of Peace. For f'n sakes, the Orwellian Ministries were intended to be a nightmarish warning, not a friggin' battle plan. I guess after one starts with a "Truth" social, the others just fall into place.

I wanted to be marching on pavement today, but I had to work. I still made a small contribution to the cause.

The government is shuttered. All the services that it provides to the citizens are being withheld. Come April 15, 2026, I shall deduct from my tax bill's income statement however many days' worth of idleness this comes to. Seems fair to me!
