How did you arrive on mu?
Anyone familiar with #EventSource? I have an ASP.NET Core backend which uses an IAsyncEnumerable and TypedResults.ServerSentEvents and it's working fine. But I want to return a 400/404/403 if the provided id is invalid/not existent/restricted. How to distinguish that in the frontend?
Or just use a custom implementation (what I don't really want, because each dependency adds responsibility to me). npmx.dev/package/even...
This is how I use TypeScript and it's making my life so much better! It's good to see that I'm not the only one... I started a long version of this some time ago but never finished it. Maybe you find it useful. github.com/flensrocker/... #TypeScript #DomainModeling youtu.be/Vhjo1myKaCk

Of course the author of a merge/pull request should use all available tools to get it in shape before someone else looks at it. The author is the first reviewer. This was true before AI. Besides that I'm team line-by-line, how else can I make sure the software does the right thing?
1/6 Developers are deeply divided over whether human code review is still necessary. Exaggerating slightly: one side accuses the other of abandoning code quality and blindly trusting AI. The counter is that line-by-line review simply throttles AI back down to human speed. 🐢
Trying the new native @mu.social Android app. Only thing not working: push notifications Do they work for anyone? userinput.app/d/did:plc:3b...
I should have read the whole post, not just the first line... mu.social/profile/mu.s...
mu is now available for open testing on Android play.google.com/store/apps/d... We’re already aware of some funky text in a couple of places. Please share your feedback and bugs. Note - this version does not have notifications yet

Thanks, @fubits.dev ! Didn't work... but that's ok, it's still early access and I don't if there are restrictions on these kind of apps.
@bananen.software interesting?
I've built and rebuilt this "thing" over the past 2.5 years ~4 times. It's finally taking real shape as a thing that other people will be able to use. A code / entire platform inspection tool - that builds code graphs and supports agents with context via MCP. "What if SonarQube was useful?"

Today we're launching ai-policy.dev! A collaboration of me, @danielroe.dev and @matteogabriele.npmx.social - this provides a few human curated AI contribution policies you can choose from. Our hope is that this will help you better define your stance and what kind of contributions you accept 🙏

It seems that I start to collect blocks from people that may feel offended by something I wrote to the Paint.NET AI stuff that is going on, despite the fact that I'm not really liking AI. Just guessing, but looking at some of the posts those wrote, I think it's a good guess.
It is sad to see, that there are people who lack the fundamental skills for reasonable human interaction. You can disagree, but being polite in communication should be a no-brainer. And it is allowed to just not respond to something I don't like.

The medical open-source project that hired me to help seems to have unexpectedly run out of money, so it looks as though I'm available for hire until November. Get in touch if you think I can help your software engineering organisation. blog.ploeh.dk/hire-me
Nazis should not be welcomed. There is no point in talking to Nazis because they are wrong.
Just because I comment, like or share content on W doesn’t mean I endorse a particular political position. I want W to be a place for open, fair and unbiased debate where different perspectives can be heard and challenged. Everyone is welcome on W. We need more dialogue and less polarization.❤️
