This never happened. He was on the goddamned phone to a cable TV newsroom bragging about how he had the tallest building in NY with the towers gone. We all heard it live. Anyone, ANYONE, who doesn't refute this repeatedly and loudly is a collaborator and not a journalist.
Trump claims he was basically lifted out of the rubble on 9/11: "Two fireman, big strong guys, they grabbed me under the arms -- 'got to get our of here!' -- and they literally lifted me up, and they started running with me."

The Supreme Court blocked the student loan forgiveness despite there being explicit statutory authority for Biden to do it and allowed the Iran War despite an explicit Constitutional prohibition on anyone besides Congress declaring a war.
It gets worse when you remember that the Strait of Hormuz was open before the war started. So we’re spending $40B and people are dying on both sides to return to the status quo from January. Everything is socialism unless it’s money for killing people in pointless forever wars.

New in PN: Are voters finally realizing that GOP presidents are disasters? "The last 3 R presidents have handed their D successors an economic catastrophe, & the last 3 Ds have had to do their best to clean it up. Why don’t Ds ever say that? I think it would make a difference" — @mjtoma.bsky.social

"Look at the last 3 GOP presidents. One oversaw a double-dip recession with a savings & loans scandal that looted the Treasury. That was Bush I. Another oversaw near meltdown of the whole capitalist system. That was Bush II. Then the next presided over a pandemic-driven collapse. That was Trump I."

Born into poverty during peak Jim Crow, Ray Charles stood against the system that sought to keep him destitute. He famously fought against segregation until the state that banned him apologized & made his song their state anthem. Brother Ray loved America & made her better as a result.
