AI Slop history content has become a YouTube grift that is destroying an entire genre's credibility. It's gotten to the point where I felt I needed to air my thoughts on the subject, I've been writing this video since December, and it's about time I made it
#AvianAugust Day 31: Wilson‘s Bird-of-paradise (Cicinnurus respublica) Another bird of the category "what did nature created there?!" And that’s it, AvianAugust 2026 is finished! Thanks @cookiedoves.bsky.social for organising! #birdart #birds #watercolour #traditionalart #art

#AvianAugust Day 7: Painted Bunting - repost because I love this one very much #birdart #watercolour
Yesterday I saw a picture of a Painted Bunting (Passerina ciris) and knew I had to draw it. They are really pretty. I also had a good laugh when I realised they are called "Papstfink" in German, which translates back to "pope finch". Fitting for a member of the cardinal birdfamily 😄 #birdart
#AvianAugust Day 4: Common Bronzewing (Phaps chalcoptera) Decided to add some gold leaf flakes to replicate the shine of the wing feathers. Thanks to @davidcsimon.bsky.social for the beautiful reference picture! #birdart #traditionalart #birds #art
If you need reference photos of Common Bronzewings for #AvianAugust 2026 then you're welcome to these. Credit/attribution welcome, but I mainly just want to see what you make with them :)
