Power move idea: Before you do something (literally anything) in public, ask a nearby stranger in public to take a video of you. Don’t return to them to ask for it. Eventual outcome: You have assembled an army of personal paparazzi, as if you’re a very niche microcelebrity

Inspired by recent events where I did ≈this at an event, but completely by accident like a fool. Afterwards I couldn’t stop laughing about it

Some months ago, I was invited to control an event in VATPRC (Beijing Control) when they were short-staffed. I honestly can't wait to get that video out one day, it was hilarious and amazing and very wholesome

Folks, I’m hiring: Sales/CRM, SWE, and Writer/Producers. All roles are on a 12mo equity-only basis, 100% remote & high autonomy. Most desirable traits are high initiative and knowledge of flight simulation. DM me if interested :)

Honestly, I love the feeling of satisfaction after a nice long rotation like this. We took the aircraft from Charles de Gaulle, landing at Singapore just after waking up, before arriving into Nouméa just earlier -- and that arrival made it so much better. Bliss, honestly! ❤️

Oh, yes, we also let the landing gear enjoy the breeze for a bit on departure, to cure the 300*C brakes, toasted by my shocker of a landing into Singapore. Gear stayed down until passing the 4000ft/230kt constraint on departure on the TOMAN SID, so it work out juuust nicely 😅

I flew this 172 into LBSF for a VATSIM controller exam. Good fun under IFR, ATC scurried to make a gap to fit us into; got onto the localiser at 9 miles 😅

Flew the ILS into Malang, East Java. Unfortunately departed a bit too late, and arrived after sunset. Malang, 1712ft amsl, is surrounded by peaks of up to 12000ft on all sides but the south. Landing after dark, eerily scooching past the mountains on the way down!

Is it Challenger time? I think it's Challenger time. 😊 Iquique, Chile, is shrouded in shadows cast by the mountains during a lovely sunrise. Passing over IQQ VOR while heading to Quito.

Helicopters have a much steeper (vertical, even) learning curve than fixed-wing aicraft. Have you tried helicopters in the sim? If you have gotten comfortable with them, how long did it take? #flightsim

Folks who prefer flying airliners say it's a more relatable experience. Others who prefer light aircraft say it's more exciting and hands-on. Since Bsky has a more even mix compared to other parts of the Internet — What do YOU like, and why? #flightsim

Where have you been flying this weekend? I took this A319 across the Bay of Bengal & back, getting back to RGN at sunset amidst thick evening haze. #flightsim
