I think many Republicans have become infected by germs carried back to Earth by Elon's space missions. Symptoms include loss of taste, inability to tell right from wrong and increased aggression toward kind people. I know it seems like a stretch but it's the only explanation I can think of.

Every time we throw meat to Trump, he grows stronger. We will never be able to be more cruel than he is; what we can do is stand face-to-face with him and let his supporters see him clearly for what he is, a man without a soul.

Democrats could have looked for alternatives to capitulation. Encourage donations to food banks; shame the wealthy into large donations to help; call for a large pro-compassion demonstration in front of the White House (what's left of it.) Do whatever you can think of except caving in to him.

Trump is like a vampire; he sucks the life out of everything he touches. We need to find ways to force him into the sunlight to destroy him. It was working until a few Dems got scared. Always remember that Trump needs to be starved out of the dark hole he is in. Do not capitulate!!!

There are some Democrats who don't understand the nature of power. Trump has a big gaping whole where his soul should be. You can't negotiate with someone like that. Neville Chamberlain and Stalin thought they could negotiate with Hitler and we can see how that turned out.

Those damn cowardly democrats have just undone the hard work of so many of us. We must all be stronger than the fascists and we must be united. Different points of view are welcome but we cannot capitulate to tyranny.

Here are the logical options: I don't know any true Christians; there aren't any true Christians; true Christians know better than to try to predict or provoke god's actions. Please stop trying to predict the 2nd coming.

Having a difference of opinion is not the same thing as debating the worthiness of your opponent. You cannot have a difference of opinion with someone you don't trust.

Unless you are brown-skinned or look brown-skinned you probably haven't felt the physical violence from this regime but, if you believe in democracy, you have been violently assaulted. We are all afraid and intimidated; that's an assault.

There is a lot of finger wagging about the level of physical violence against politicians. In my opinion not enough is said about non-physical violence against the rule of law, justice and our mental well-being.

If Trump really cared about crime, he would fire his entire cabinet, all of his political appointees, ask for the resignations of 6 Supreme Court Justices and ask JD to resign. Then, he would himself resign and confess to the crimes he has committed. He is the crime wave we should most fear.

So Trump says maybe we want a dictator. Does he want to live under a dictator (maybe his father was one)? I don't know anyone who likes to be told what to think; I know I don't and, if I did I certainly wouldn't choose him for my dictator. He's criminally clueless!

Do you think we could get 10 million, or maybe even 20 million people, to show up for a protest at the White House? Largest protest ever? They'd have to helicopter Trump out of town! They couldn't arrest all of us! Who's up for it?

We have to keep imagining what will replace the current fascist state in America: Idea #1 - what if all lawyers worked for the Justice System (on salary, no private lawyers) and were randomly assigned to cases as prosecutors or defenders? Every defendant would receive the best legal representation!

Listening to Trump in Scotland: We just gave $16 million for Palestinian food [not enough] but nobody said 'thank you'. I'll say thank you to him when he does the right thing and resigns from office and I wouldn't mind if the door does hit him on the way out.

As Israel attacked Gaza after the October Hamas attack, they knew there would be no way to separate Hamas from civilians. So what was their strategy for eliminating Hamas? Israel could only be successful by destroying Gaza civilians and all. So why should we believe this is not genocide?

We have never taken national responsibility and atonement for the sin of slavery. How are we going to deal with the shame, disgust and guilt generated by our deportations to torture centers and other criminal acts perpetrated by someone calling himself a Christian but is probably a child molester.

More ranting from the oblivious above us that fentanyl needs to be stopped at the border. But the most effective solution is to address the demand problem. If the supply is cut off, users will pay higher prices or cheaper alternatives. We've been trying supply control for a long time. Is it working?

Lie detector results are not admissible in a court of law! Why? Because they are not reliable. Psychopaths, however, are very good at fooling the tests. Using lie detectors as a measure of loyalty will likely lead to an increase of psychopaths in government. Is that an intended consequence?
