I'm hopeful to find my audience at ALA because that con tends to have people my age with similar gaming fandoms.🧓🥹

I see fandoms in artist alley today that I made merch of when I was 18. I did Not expect things to come full circle like this. Just missing Hetalia. But I'm good without it coming back. Lmfao

I was seeing people buy prints too. Oh my god. Now can table booth fees go back to what they were please?

Fiddling around with my website and ended up adding a list of every artist alley I've done. Crazy to think about how much my merch has changed. Pre-pandemic artist alley booth vs now.

Made some self indulgent keychains of Drifloon and Ditto from Pokopia 🙂‍↕️ very happy with how cute they turned out! I have some up on my shop if anyone wants one! #handmade #plush #plushartist #pokemon #pokopia #drifloon #ditto

I can shout from the rooftops about how expensive artist alley table fees are, but it's hard to see that changing.

When I saw the shift of table prices happening in real time, I thought it was because artists were publicly bragging about 5 figure profits from a single convention, which would be an outlier to the average artist But now I'm questioning what's happening behind the scenes at these events

The table fee I paid for a one-day, free to attend, local event this past weekend, was the same price for the Anime Expo artist alley booth I bought in 2012.

Is Artist Alley even sustainable any more? It's more expensive than ever to set up in artist alley or at a comics show - and here are some of the numbers

I apologize for the alt text being incomplete. My phone keyboard is not cooperating with typing in that specific input.

I am grateful the local indie idol scene seems so wholesome. The bad vibes I got in Japan when I witnessed middle aged men screaming over young girls was so unsettling 😭 here it's literally just other young people of any gender enjoying the singing and dancing

とりあえずできた～！んだけど、イベ日までに間に合うか微妙なところ… 30シートも作ってしまったのでイベントでちょっとでもはかないと、とんでもない在庫を家で抱えることになる…

When I know I'm right and people don't believe me, I will probably just wait until they find out themselves. I don't feel like dealing with condescending attitudes towards me. :') The truth will hit them eventually and if they're still in denial that's not my problem.

People want to feel "correct" all the time but ya that just won't happen 100% of the time. That's ok!

I used to never do duty finder roulettes in ffxiv but now I'm having fun just observing how new players react to mechanics they don't know. Or random stuff like someone's search info saying "ask me about my dog" and they have a whole macro response if you ask.

Me whenever I see an AI generated flyer: what am I supposed to be looking at. Where's the visual hierarchy. Where's the white space. I guess I won't read it then!
