"Create a habit for yourself." Could be 10min-2hrs; it's for you to do creative work (writing, drawing, etc). Now, I've heard this many times: write every day, just 5min. But what struck me was Pia's comment, "Make it a habit so that when you're not doing it, you feel like you SHOULD be doing it."

"Inspiration doesn't happen at the start." Ian's comments bring this whole thread home. "It comes from when you're already doing it. Start DOING the thing. Write a paragraph or two of the thing and that's when inspiration kicks in. Momentum in your brain will start. START BEFORE YOU WANT TO!"

"Finish work that you didn't necessarily want to finish." It will 1) clear it out of your head so you can work on something new and b) get you used to working on deadlines.

Excited to share that I was co-narrative lead for this project! On top of writing and helping to pitch ideas to create an outline... this time I also gained experience managing the writing team and reviewing scripts for story cohesion purposes. All while continuing communication between other depts!

In the age of folks using AI to replace creatives, it is good to be conscious of what we consume to help support creators. But it's also *very important* to not blindly accuse the use of AI when it's so clear the devs went out of their way to make their passion project human.

Could I get some support from fellow devs and creatives? We got a negative review on Steam for AI use... despite there being absolutely *no* AI use in our game. TL;DR? Give a chance to show that AI wasn't used, or you'll be harming the very same artists you claim to be helping.❤️

I've made the mistake of downloading Mini Metro. Knowing how hooked I was to Mini Motorways, I should have seen this coming. My productivity has dropped. My sleep scheduled is off more than ever. And I can't stop thinking of ways to optimize squares, circles, & triangles with limited # of tunnels.

Catching up on #Tracker: We don't have access to back episodes of Tracker on CTV so we've just jumped into the middle of S2 and don't really know any of the characters. Tracker be tracking, then he calls a guy and it cuts to someone behind a computer screen. - Dad: tech guy! That's the tech guy!
