A large percentage of my work lately is because I am too cheap to pay Supabase for my fun project backend. I am rejiggering everything to store time series data rolled up in a lovely compressible package to save 10x space. It's likely just asinine but I'm having fun.

Today's HomeKit setup for a Hunter ceiling fan was the most arduous ever. Only successfully because of AI assistance because the hardware setup process for this device is apparently buggy as fuck and the WiFi support is 2.4 ghz and can't handle more modern mesh goofiness.

Was out shopping and I got alerts for every HomePod in the house that alarms were going off. Called 911. Unlocked all the doors remotely. Thankfully it was just a bad battery tripping the smoke detector. They loved all of the tech that kept them from breaking our front door down.
