Hi folks. There's currently heavy load on the Foodnoms search index clusters causing search results to fail. Actively investigating.

Normal service was restored late last night. If you’re still seeing unusual results, try restarting the app or your device. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Ever had a bad connection and been stuck staring at a blank screen when searching in Foodnoms? Pretty frustrating when you just want something from Previously Logged! Well, as of today's update, that’s fixed. The Previously Logged and library sections load instantly, and the rest show a spinner.

In addition to all the Shortcuts and Siri improvements, yesterday’s update also included a few quality-of-life enhancements: 1. There is a new context menu option to move a food entry to another meal type. There’s also an option to move all entries in a meal to another meal type.

2. If you receive a notification to log a meal (e.g., breakfast, lunch, or dinner) but don’t interact with it, the notification will automatically clear once you log something for that meal later. The same applies to the “no recent logs” notification.

Big update! Foodnoms’ Siri & Shortcuts integration has been completely revamped: ✅ 44 powerful new actions ✅ 9 App Shortcuts ✅ 7 example shortcuts by @matthewcassinelli.bsky.social ✅ Future-ready for Apple Intelligence See video demos, get shortcuts, and more: www.foodnoms.com/blog/revampe...

And that’s not all! We’ve also made two other notable improvements to Foodnoms AI: 1. Support for many more recipe websites. 2. AI-generated estimates now include values for Caffeine, Alcohol, and Water.

Here's how: 1. Update to the latest version of the app (version 2025.1). 2. Use the share sheet and select "Open in Foodnoms" (if it's not visible, select "Edit Actions…" and enable it). Alternatively, copy the URL and paste it into Foodnoms AI. 3. Review and log the result.

12 million foods logged in 2024! 🎉 I'm thankful for each of you who made Foodnoms a part of your daily routine. Looking ahead, I wish you a year full of health, happiness, and meaningful progress toward your goals. 🧡 – Ryan, Foodnoms Creator

one of my fav examples of adding REAL value with gen ai is @foodnoms.com gen ai is NOT itself an excuse to charge more for an app or service - the ONLY excuse to charge more is to bring EXTRA value that wouldn’t otherwise exist

You are up to date.
