My angel baby Badger's at the emergency vet with some eye trouble. Any well wishes are appreciated!

Well, I did say my neglected feed would be nothing but pet pics eventually, and I erroneously referred to Pesto as "the last of them," so meet Fern, everyone. I foster-failed her. Can you blame me?

Badger, it's not even Monday! #catsofbluesky #tuxedocats #cats

Here's Pesto, because I felt bad that all the rest were on my runty little profile here except for him. And that's the lot of 'em!

It's like it's pretty here or something.

Y'all, I'm so glad the House took the time to end the tyranny of taxes on silencers. I know there's a lot going on right now, but that one was really weighing on me. Shooting up schools is one thing, but loudly? Unacceptable. Thank goodness Clyde was there to rep. what the people really care about.

Badger remains ever vigilant for the Blanket Monster.

To even out the vibe, here's Roux inspecting a nazar (evil eye ward) a friend brought me from Turkey:

Louisianans: Of all places, our state was determined the "best" for holding people on trumped-up charges in inhumane conditions with no recourse until a friendly local judge agrees to traffic them to another country. LA is where their corruption and cruelty come to thrive. SHAME on us. John 11:35.

Yesterday I finally stopped lecturing myself about cleaning my house and just plugged in the vacuum in a central location. Since, I've been just randomly vacuuming, and, y'all, it's so satisfying! (Jessie, is this really what you want to be your first top-level post on BlueSky? Eh, it's fine.)
