i think a lot of explicit bones stuff makes him too mean…. i could see some playful teasing on his end but downright mean just doesnt track with his character imo he’s too much of a softy even if it’s just pretend

also i think he’s too nervous about health and safety that choking someone would be a definite boner killer for him…... he probably isn’t as concerned if he’s on the receiving end though

idc if you think bones is too mean to spock HOWEVER if the argument is that he calls spock slurs im gonna have to disagree because why are we trying to make up fictional slurs. last i checked the only characters to call spock a real actual slur are kirk and scotty

they both use the term “halfbreed” in the series towards spock which is a for real harmful word that for some reason many people have decided is a non-issue compared to uhh. calling him green blooded? its not like theres a homestuck blood heirarchy thing going on

if i was any good at putting my thoughts to words idve written an essay about orientalism in both canon and fanon depictions of vulcan culture (though. mostly fanon. its downright egregious)
