More than ever, it's necessary to show proof of work. Here's the WIP of one of the interiors in Found: a patisserie. The game has hundreds of these little scenes, each crafted with Godot and Blender and plenty of love. link.found.game/bsnf #steamnextfest #godot #blender #indiegame #adventuregame

Three years ago, the company I worked for went bankrupt, and I rebounded by learning game development. After countless tutorials and years shaping the story of Found, its demo finally reached Next Fest… alongside 7,999 others. #steamnextfest #indiegame #gamedev #howitstartedvshowitsgoing

If you're digging through Next Fest's piles of slop and looking for something crafted oh-so-carefully by hand, check out Found. From collectable illustrations to curated landscapes, this art is all me: link.found.game/bsnf #indiegame #gamedev #notslop #steamnextfest

Found is in Steam Next Fest. I’m going in with a small audience, a hard-to-categorize game, and single goal: find the people who enjoy wandering strange landscapes, uncovering stories, and rebuilding worlds. 🎮 Play the demo: link.found.game/bsnf #steamnextfest #indiegame #adventuregame

Found's main story is about reassembling a broken world and understanding what broke it in the first place. But in between the moments of the main storyline are dozens of smaller stories, like this little cult worshipping the glow. #IndieGames #Worldbuilding #GameDev

The story is solid and now I'm finishing up the details, filling in the placeholders, and adding small discoveries like this healing sanctuary. If Found looks interesting, give the demo a play during Next Fest! link.found.game/ssbs #screenshotsaturday #nextfest #indiegame #gamedev

I totally forgot to post the wishy watery gameplay video! This is what twelve hours of meetings does to the brain.

Just added newly-placed-level transitions in Found. As you collect and assemble the fragments of the world, you can now see them appear. I think it makes them all the more explorable. #indiedev #gamedev #steamgame

It's been a Saturday full of shader upgrades. Here's the fresh new water of Found 💧 If you're a fan of narrative adventures, consider giving Found a wishlist or the demo a play: link.found.game/ssbs #screenshotsaturday #indiegame #gamedev

The place where two fragments of the world join. Which two is up to you. If you love story-rich adventure games, consider playing the demo or wishlisting. Every wishlist helps Found get a little closer to the people I’ve made it for. link.found.game/webs #wishlistwednesday #indiegames

The world has fallen apart. You decide how it fits back together. I made a new trailer focused on the idea at the heart of Found: discover fragments of the world, place them, and build your own path through it. The demo is live on Steam: link.found.game/ttbs #trailertuesday #indiegames #steamdemo

What inspired Found? Let's start with Monument Valley. I love the dream-like landscapes and surreal architecture of @ustwogames.co.uk I wanted to wander mazes made of that aesthetic in 3D. Experience the demo and wishlist on Steam: link.found.game/ispmv #indiegame #gamedev #inspiration

The assemble-your-own-world map is what makes Found unique, but I think it’s the characters that make it special. Here’s how I track all 265+ of them. How do you keep track of your characters? #gamedesign #storyrich #gamedev #indiegame

My to do list was getting too long, so I took a break to add some fun little fidgets to Found. Now I’ve been ignoring my to do list and spinning signs all afternoon. I did at least manage to get these updates into the demo for Next Fest… #indiegame #gamedev #fidget #screenshotsaturday

Final Fantasy IV. I don't know how many times I flew to the moon in the Lunar Whale just because I thought the growing pixels was such a clever trick. And now, decades later, that pixel moon has flipped the game developer switch in my brain as well 🌖

What's your "origin" video game? Most gamers have a lot of favorite games, sure, but there's always one that basically 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 you: the game that flipped that little switch in your brain and made into a life-long gamer.

The funny thing about game design is that everything in the real world becomes game inspiration. So here I am in Romania, visiting monestaries and citadels and wondering, "now how could this add to the castle levels of Found?" #gamedesign #castles #gamedev

Today we visit the beautiful solarpunk region that the Tepilites call home. While technical advances have served them well, the Tepilites are still learning that just because they can, doesn't always mean they should. #indiedev #godot #blender

Today I'm visiting Austria, surrounded by mountains. So here are some clips of Em exploring the mountainous regions of Found, just trying to find the best view. #indiegame #mapmonday #gameart

I’m doing some traveling this week, so it feels like the right time to show off some of the travel destinations of Found. First stop: the forests. Some are manicured, others wild, and all are magical at sunrise… at least if you can escape the enemies long enough to appreciate it. #indiegame

Wandering through the fog and taking out a baddie. These moody castle landscapes are some of my favorites. #screenshotsaturday #indiedev #indiegame #godot

Meet Naptani. Naptani has always been a worrier. She worries about her house, her friends, and about saying the wrong thing. When the fragmentation happened, she learned that maybe the smaller things weren't worth worrying about, though she also worried about the implications of letting them go.

✨ Working on Found, a narrative RPG where you play Em, a cloaked wanderer reassembling a broken world while piecing together your own identity. 🎮 Built in Godot, with art in Blender + Procreate. 📖 Expect stories, screenshots, and the occasional beautiful accident.

You are up to date.
