Good AI use case: Summarize artwork descriptions at museums! Especially if you're at a conceptual art museum that likes to hand out essays. 😵‍💫 Take a photo of it and ask to rewrite "in simple, plain English." For extra fun: Ask to do it in a sassy tone or use a different format (sonnet, haiku)

YOOHOO. Was having dinner conversations with my 🇬🇧 husband talking early old 90s films and "Encino Man" (1992) came up. Did you know in the UK it was titled "California Man" instead? (presumably because no one knew where Encino was)

a simple rule for contributing to community is this: give/do nice things that people want, freely, with no expectation of anything in return. repeat. answer a question, crack a joke, give a complement, review a work, share something cool, share a story, whatever resonates with you at the time

PSA: really easy to change your bsky username from *.bsky.social to something else if you already own a domain! Thanks @mk.gg 🫶 1. Settings > Advanced > Change handle > I have my own domain 2. Go to your domain provider & copy that stuff into your DNS settings. Less scary than it sounds, I promise

another "wow, chatgpt is awesome" moment. i couldn't remember the name of a specific stretching exercise, and google was zero help. so i described it to chatgpt, i.e. "arm goes there, other hand goes there, head tilts this way" chatgpt understood right away and told me the exercise's name!

(please correct me if I'm wrong 👇)

What I've figured out so far: * If you use the [gif] button when drafting a post, it works (loads gifs from Tenor) * It you try to upload a gif via the picture 🖼️ button it's not animated

You are up to date.
