Playing a beta of this new fantasy game currently in the works I’m testing out and it’s insanely good and much more fun than FPL Ownership ceiling, more routes to points, no captaincy, auction based transfer market, … Will post invites for it during next international break

Some sneak peaks

This new format ‘fantasy market’ is a bit of a mix of fpl and draft, has the best things from both formats but not the bad things Definitely give it a go when they launch it during next IB if you like draft. I love draft too and it’s an upgrade. Will post more about it later

Can be played laid back by only checking in once a week but also rewards strategy for those who want to spend more time on it. No template, no chips, larger squads. Analyticals can use their stuff while grass managers can risk fun plays because the rules enable it

Wissa out (DCL, Solanke or dead spot) Hornicek out (Verb or Kinsky or Traff) Szobo/ MGW/Slater out (Rogers, Stach, Gross, Tav, Savio, Doku, Cherki) Any of those, all of those, or just roll Officially lost

MGW is a tough one in FPL Ticks all the boxes of a great FPL asset: pens, minutes, gets chances, creates a lot. Just been unlucky. Arsenal next is hard but Coventry after is arguably great

7.9m is a lot though when there’s Gross and Tavernier for cheaper who tick the same boxes. And Rogers who’s doing the points. Cherki/Doku with IPS. Feel like it’s sell this week before ARS or keep medium-long term. Makes it a hard decision for me

Played wildcard in the end. Didn’t trust the xMins enough of Tzolis/NOR/Cherki/Semenyo and didn’t trust the form of LIV/TOT/MUN (Kinsky, Van Hecke, VVD, Isak, Maguire, Lammens) enough I think my team was slightly too bad to delay it.

I don’t think my team looks great this gw and of course the Isak haul hurts already but that was always the big risk, almost predicted even. Just think this team is very robust and low-effort-management in the medium term. Probs a bit too risky/light in defense but might be fine for a while

Thought Mbeumo, Maguire and Lammens were the best looking ManUtd players out there even if the bar was very low ofc. Good xMins too. If that’s enough to get points vs Ipswich or Everton, I’m not sure…
