New paper in press! 🐎🏁 "What We Can Learn from Horse Races: Response Inhibition Across Species" 📄 doi: doi.org/10.31219/osf... In this paper, I argue for applying frameworks like the horse race model to study response inhibition in animals.

This paper will be part of Gordon Logan’s Festschrift (more on that soon in a separate post), so I tried to connect the dots—from Gordon’s foundational work and our collaborations at Vanderbilt, to my current studies on response inhibition in birds 🐦 @ecobird.bsky.social.
