> Liquid Hydrogen (LH2) and Liquid Oxygen (LOX) engines ... The only emission from these rocket engines is pure water vapor (H2O).

Our Mars Express (image 1) meets NASA's Psyche (image 2) 🤝 As Psyche flew past Mars for a gravity boost on its way to an asteroid, the two missions captured exactly the same patch of the Red Planet's surface. Find out why these joint observations can be useful 👉 www.esa.int/ESA_Multimed... 🔭 🧪

New distance measurements for our galaxy 📏 ESA's XMM-Newton & NASA's Chandra have measured the distance to three bright explosions echoing through the outer spiral arms of our galaxy. In doing so, they found the arms to be up to 10% further away than we thought 👉 www.esa.int/Science_Expl... 🔭 🧪 ☄️

This giant planet orbits a white dwarf, giving us a rare glimpse of what may await Jupiter when our Sun eventually dies 👉 https://www.esa.int/Science_Exploration/Space_Science/Webb/Webb_studies_how_a_planet_survived_the_death_of_its_star 🔭 🧪 ☄️ 2/2

esa.intWebb studies how a planet survived the death of its starAn international team of astronomers has used the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope to watch the Jupiter-sized exoplanet WD 1856 b transit its host star, measuring the planet’s mass and temperature and even detecting its atmosphere. They found that the planet is significantly warmer than expected and determined how it most likely reached its very tight orbit around the star, a white dwarf. The results are our first window into the future of planets like Jupiter after the death of the Sun, billions of years into the future.
