just got an ad for an app that reads books aloud to you in celeb AI voices, & in the marketing skit, a man approaches a women at a cafe & asks how she reads so many books, & she’s like “I don’t, I listen to them 😏” & then shows her phone to reveal she’s listening to Genesis verses with Snoop Dogg

The app looks like dogshit but I am in love with the premise of this woman’s voracious book habits and massive brain being showcased with AI Snoop Dogg Bible reading at 2x speed.

One of my favourite details of The Sopranos is how the FBI is always chowing down on submarine sandwiches, burgers, etc. and drinking pop. However, if I was the director, they would have become subtly fatter in every scene until they were all 400 pounds.

When I see a guy in slim athleisure chinos, ON sneakers, and a quarter-zip fleece my fight or flight is activated. “Enemy! Enemy!!” my brain screams.

I actually had to break my streak in Milan cause I was wearing a pull up to a dinner and started leaking at the table, and when I rushed to the bathroom, I had to focus to be able to let go on the potty (despite *really* needing to go and already leaking in my pull up), and missed the seat 🫪

I promise im not just being a contrarian hater but I really don’t care about GTAVI, and I keep forgetting that it is supposed to be the Game of the Century.

I’ve given up smoking completely for a couple months now and it turns out your brain just latches onto something else to stim to. Anyway, I currently go through about 3 cases of Kirkland sparkling mineral water a week.

Fritz squirming from tummy rumbles, crinkling his thick, ultra-protective baby-print diapers against daddy’s couch. His dad grabs you by the collar & tells you to lay down on the floor so Fritz can go potty, the regressed skunk toddling over to your snout & planting his Huggies right on your face.

looking to daddy for head-pats. You—completely smothered in fwumpy, weighted skunk Huggies—feel your mind slipping as you hear a muffled “good job, buddy!” from above, and Fritz’s excited wiggles smush his loaded diaper further into your face, and completely overwhelm you with his scent.

You barely notice your own bladder releasing into your underwear, your potty training crumbling further and further under the skunkfluence. Training Fritz to only use his diapers on his new “potty” was turning out to be well worth daddy’s effort.

“Thanks dwaddy!” he mumbles through his pacifier, as being brought down to a squat makes his tail immediately start twitching, springing up to a full flag as he grunts and loads his plush diaper with a massive poopy accident, burying your face in bulging padding. “All done!” he declares proudly,

I started reading David S/edaris’ 26’ essay collection, which is the first book I’ve read by him, and he’s very funny but occasionally says some really out of touch stuff like “We had to painfully navigate union protestors on 5th avenue—dont they know some of us have 10:30 brunch?” Like girl, c’mon.

He captures some really beautiful and witty depictions of humanity and I ultimately enjoy his writing a lot and will read more by him, but the experience suffers a bit from the ways in which he—in his 60s, wealthy—is detached from a lot of poorer/younger people’s lives.

It is kind of refreshing to read someone who is both thoughtful but shamelessly irreverent and not walking on eggshells about sensitive issues, but he can occasionally just come off as a jerk, like the essay where he’s on an island estate of a friend and mocking Greta T/hunberg for being annoying.

The pseudo Vangelis love theme killed me Choosing to believe “How do I get mine in there??” is a Freudian slip Fox’s reaction here was every furry into boobs in 2002.

Just woke up from a dream where I was in France in a train terminal and they kept playing a PSA ad via speakers with a chipper woman’s voice telling us that wearing really big diapers was offensive&disrespectful, and they’d end with a man’s voice in a serious, clear tone saying “parrainé par Israël”

Playing this game on switch 2 rn and the “gagahbi gobi ha bingo wabashanba DINOSAUR PLANET gigihasenae” line from General Scales in the intro is incredible.

I can cope with chuds being chuds but nothing makes me sadder than seeing decent people become apathetic and doomer, tearing down people who want to try to make the world a little better. I don’t think anything disturbs me quite as much as younger people declaring there is no point to trying.

I volunteered to canvass for a local (progressive) politician recently (actually pretty fun, like a weird form of trick or treating) and VERY consistently, the only assholes (sneering, rude, hostile) were tesla owners. Even the non-tesla conservatives were civil and friendly. Much to think about.
