throughout bioware's writing at its peak, there was a careful balance of blatant sexual fantasy tempered by detailed explanation of how its really quite logical if you think about it. this was their "x factor" that few managed to copy.

is television a serious art form only in america (looking at the top 100 list, is it even in america?) maybe this sounds pretentious but earnestly i am asking because looking at this list, i can't even think of what has been omitted, to the point where its terrible inclusions are sort of unavoidable

when sight and sound put out their top films of all time it does actually include films not made in the united states. is this not true of television, or do "serious tv critics" just not watch non-english tv. is it just too time consuming? is it basically dreck? has no one made their sopranos

the gta games are like the avatar series in the sense that they cost country gdps and are considered monumental, unavoidable entertainment objects but if you just ignore them for the month they release they immediately cease to hold any cultural relevance the same as if a new watch dogs released

i’ve invented two new chess pieces, “the chalice” and “the rook twice”

to use the chalice, you first load it with pieces, as you would capturing a piece, then, on your turn as a move, you may “tip the chalice,” and where the pieces fall they enter play

to use the rook twice, you must first bring it onto the board via the full-board castle, when the entire back row has been evacuated save the two rooks, they may travel from each of their sides and meet in the middle to form the rook twice. the rook twice moves as a rook, but twice.
