The Halloween spirit has struck me.

So like… totally obvious, but coming out to family is such an emotional roller coaster. It’s been such a back and forth of “we love you, we’re here for you” and “this isn’t you, we miss our old child/sibling.” Major whiplash of feeling right now.

So, I recently came out as trans to my conservative religious family. Shockingly, it hasn’t gone well. I’m very sad about it, but it’s what I expected. I’ll move on. It’ll be ok, but I’m fucking sad about it.
