1/2 If you’re looking for me, you might find me in the garden planting old regrets and new hope. You might find me in the forest, talking to the trees and singing with the ravens. You might also find me in the kitchen, cooking a stew made of old doubts and fresh promises. #vss365 #doubt

Yesterday, the forecast said "No rain!" So we took a walk along the sea front & of course, it started to pour. But there were several luminous spots between the dark clouds. We looked around but nothing happened & now the weather god owes us a #rainbow. #thingstowriteabout

Yes, I know, even though I am leaning more to the quiet side, at times, I can be loud, clumsy, awkward, annoying & embarrasing. (My students probably would say: All of this!) I just hope, I didn't make anybody #nervous #vss365

It was a rhetorical question. He answered it anyway, going off on a tangent, longwinded, loquacious, starting with Adam & Eve, punctuating his philippika with his raised finger, until he finally came to his usual conclusion; "Don't get my carpet dirty!" #FromOneLine

When I'm #dead, don't put my ashes in an urn. Put it into an hourglass, so I can be on time. Scatter it under a tree that's called what I am now. Grit the road with it, so I can help you one last time. #vss365

When I get weary, I get the Blues, too. But there's no Mississippi #Delta shining like a National Guitar* for me. Where I live, a different river flowers, opening up into the Baltic Sea. Thus, the Seagull Choir & me sing the Schwentine Delta blues. #vss365 *Paul Simon: Graceland

#FromOneLine 1/2 My grandfather's walking stick - he used it for a lot of things: as a pointer or to get chestnuts out of the trees for his grandchildren. He'd also let them use it as a hobby horse. But ...

An etheral song lured me to the library by the sea, where they keep The Book of the Sirens. I have no choice, but to open it, although I don‘t know what will happen: Will it devour me, suck me in & make an illustration? Or will it be the beginning of my eternal service for the library by the sea?

At last I found my lonely #island, in a quite corner of the library, by the window, hidden behind the economy books, where even I wouldn't normally go. There's just enough room for me & you, Miss Friday, & some rambler #roses peeking through the window. #vss365 #thingstowriteabout

She counted the bells ön Sunday morning - one for luck, two for courage, three for joy four for love, five for a kiss, six for a wish, seven for health, eight for wealth, nine for a dream, ten for sleeping in late. #FromOneLine

Do you remember the day we got caught in the rain and found a dry place on the #harbour ferry? Our ticket was valid for 3 hrs, so we just sat there, your head on shoulder, never moving, except for the occasional kiss. I I hope the memory does not make you sea sick. #vss365

A short history of the clouds Cotton Candy. Mountains. A snail slowly leaving its house. Snoopy chasing a dragon. Don Quijote falling off Rosinante. My father turning his face to the sun. A hole through which my mother watches over me. #vss365 #cloud

The curtain stayed open long enough, so we could get a glimpse at this life's #passion play - is it a tragedy, is it a comedy? We will find out later, when the plot unfolds, before the final curtain call. #vss365

Every morning I #embark on a new adventure on the commuter train. Will it be on time? Will it go at all? Will I reach my connecting bus? & will my colleague make it on time, too? After all, she has the keys Will I be able to see the sunrise over the Kiel Kanal? So much exitement for a little frogget

The fields are black & moving. It's crow season. Beaks are shining in the sun or digging in the soil. Wings are being opened. Cawing fills the air. & when I see them from the window of my train, I am never sure whether they are having a meeting or are growing there. #FromOneLine

I wasn't the first, admittedly, to watch the sun rise, to admire flowers or a bird in flight; the first to fall in love or get rejected; the first to experience joy or loss, not at all. But still, I'm gonna write about it as if I was. #vss365 #commence
