GalaCon

What a sight to behold! GalaCon will return to the Bürgerzentrum Waiblingen on the 4th and 5th of September 2027!

Thanks to the helping hands and hooves of dozens of volunteers GalaCon 2026 ran smoothly as usual! We're incredibly grateful for their support, from both returning and new helpers! And shoutout to those of you who are also helping at @ponyconholland.horse this weekend!

We found this lovely book in the library, so we’ll sit down and have a look inside. We wonder what we'll find hidden within?

As many of you have read, Ashleigh Ball posted on Instagram about her fight against breast cancer and her life with it. If you want to show your support, check out this cancer research campaign she shared leftonfriday.com/blogs/epic-g... or donate via mygiving.bccancerfoundation.com/page/FUNNPUJ...

Over the next few weeks, we’ll have a look back at what made GalaCon 2026 special, starting with our community. Artists, vendors, Guests, new friends, and of course, the jokes, are what make this event so wonderful! Do you have a favourite memory from this year’s edition?

Happy 16th anniversary to Twilight's mission into Ponyville, which is apparently in Germany!

i did a Nightmare Night themed version of the @galacon.eu theme for this year's con! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3SX...

Going once.... going twice.... aaaand sold!!! Thanks again to @perrydotto.net for letting me be the Co-Host for the charity auction at @galacon.eu ! It was a blast and I didn't drop anything xD

Ga- Ga- Ga- Ga- Ga- GalaCon! Is the amazing opening song by the doubleWbrothers still stuck in your head? It's now available as download for free at our bandcamp! galacon.bandcamp.com/track/galaco...

With your help, we raised over 35.000 euros for Make-A-Wish Germany! We are all beyond grateful for your presence, your support, and your donations! Until the next time!

The time has come! Bring your bits and friends and join us in the Mane Hall for the Charity Auction, starting now!

The Charity Auction is starting soon! When this happens, the infobooth will be closed. Get your goodies while you can!

There are only a few panels left before the Charity Auction! Join Petirep on the Mane Stage for the Rainbow Dash Presents Movie premiere, or hop over to Panel Room 1 to hear Patchu and the doubleWBrothers talk about animating GalaCon, both starting soon!

Unfortunately, the line for Lauren Faust's exclusive signing session has closed. But you can still get the chance later today! For now, the Voice Actor panel is in progress, so come ask your burning questions!

After Lauren Faust's panel, there will a brief break before the Voice Actor panel starts. In the mean time, Scootertrix will start his panel all about tinkering in Panel Room 1! Check out the stream via the link below! www.youtube.com/live/wjC0R9e...

Sunday's events are starting soon! Check out our livestream of the Mane Stage via www.youtube.com/live/xlzeVN4..., when we start with Lauren Faust's panel about Animated Content for Girls!

Thanks to your generous donations, we are full on items for the Charity Auction! The form has closed, but if you receive a message that your item was accepted, please bring it to the infobooth! Also, to the winners of the Silent Auction, visit the infobooth to pick up your items!

It's quiet... Too quiet... But that can only mean that there is more fun to come! We're looking forward to seeing you again for our second day!

Half an hour to go for the silent auction and there is still quite a few items that are way too cheap for what they are, so take your chance to get a good deal and help Make-A-Wish!

After our metal concerts, the rest of the GalaParty consists of DJ sets and EDM music. The chillout lounge remains open until midnight, with the Silent Auction and the Plush Meetup happening there as well!

If you're unable to join us for the GalaParty, you can still enjoy the performances online! Check out the livestream on YouTube via the link below! www.youtube.com/live/Y9lCxzG...

There were some delays and technical difficulties, but the Silent Auction is starting soon! Feel free to head to Panel Room 1 and check out the items!

We received word that the concert evening has been delayed by at least 15 minutes. The new starting time will be after 7PM, so be sure to take the time to get yourself some food and drinks! On that note, the bar inside stops serving food at 10, and closes entirely at 12.

To allow our talents some time to rest, people will no longer be allowed to enter the signing session. But worry not! Tomorrow, there is another chance to get a signature from all the Guests of Honour, and Lauren Faust especially!

The signing session has been slightly delayed. Please note that there are a lot of people in line already, so be prepared for quite a bit of waiting time.

If you’ve lost track of your con guide, we have the full version on our website! Download it for yourself at the following link: galacon.eu/wp-content/u...

Now on the Mane Stage, Lauren Faust's panel on Neurodiversity and animation! If that's not to your liking, Apul is talking about the Science of MLP in Panel Room 1, and MelodisDE's plush workshop has started in Panel Room 2! Buckball is starting soon outside the venue as well, open to everyone!

We are happy to once again welcome MakeAWishDE as our charity partner! If you want to help their cause, they have a donation box set up at their booth, but you can still hand in items to be sold at the auction! Visit the infobooth with your items and help us set a new record!

After a brief break, David Godfrey will talk about voice acting on the Mane Stage, Scootertrix will be fixing Trixie in panel room 1, and Etyco Filly & VoidTemplar will talk about the Hearts of Iron IV mod Equestria at War in panel room 2!

Now on the Mane Stage, Andy Price and Brenda Hickey's art panel! Also happening, WhoAmI's panel about Friendship across Borders in panel room 1, and Malte talking about forms of art in room 2. And to our Bizaam ticket holders, your signing session is happening in the Kegelbahn!

A sold-out venue, an amazing animation by the doubleWBrothers, a standing ovation, GalaCon 2026 is off to a flying start! And there is far more to come! If you want to see the video again, the video is now uploaded on the doubleWBrothers' YouTube channel! youtu.be/vbbBybdOafg?...

If you can't join us but you still want to check out the stage events, be sure to join our YouTube livestream, starting soon! www.youtube.com/live/NXbxZir...

If you're worried that you can't find a seat for the opening ceremonies, we've got a solution for you! Find yourself a spot in Panel Room 1 on the first floor and join in to celebrate the start of GalaCon!

Get ready for a weekend of spooky scares, everyone! The doors to the venue are now opened! Remember to join us in the Mane Stage for the Opening Ceremonies, starting at 10:00!
