Just learned that an 'owned goal' was a soccer thing... I thought Trump invented that

@swordsjew.bsky.social Not polar but seems right up your alley (awesome read)

When I wrote Section 230 I did so knowing it would be critical for protecting free speech online. 30 years later and it’s one of the last things standing in the way of Republican censorship of the internet. Here’s to many more years of defending this vital safeguard of free speech.

I wrote this yesterday about the hero city of Minneapolis www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKOW...

@agoldman.bsky.social top shelf show idea. Fox NFL has the best music editors ever. Tonight's game Bob Weir > The Smiths > Fontaines DC. This is a multi year thing ..

@swordsjew.bsky.social please tell me you read into the ice by Hampton Sides.....

if you love a band, buy from them directly or at a minimum chose streaming that pays them...

My boss: so how's our fourth quarter looking? Me, the sales manager at the company that makes inflatable frog suits: well, you're never going to believe this, but

For my bike/ped friends---

Hallelujah the Hills' upcoming quadruple album DECK is creative and weird and messy and vibrant, and @bostonglobe.com pretended not to notice that I went long in trying to describe how great it is. Thanks, @ryanhwalsh.bsky.social, for guiding me through it. www.bostonglobe.com/2025/06/06/a...

Hello. I live in Los Angeles. The president is lying.

@fontainesdc.bsky.social A great show tonight in New Haven.. not sure there's any other band who is as good on tape as they are live and also has an incredible stage presence.... The last time I felt this was seeing Radiohead live for the first time.. just really impressive lads

Weird that a TV show theme would coincide with a day where federal goons disappeared the Newark mayor and that ghoul Steven Miller entertains suspending Habeus Corpus...

“I tried to warn people: Look, this guy Trump is a friend of Vince McMahon, who popularized this entertainment form. I had a couple dinners with big DNC people, saying, You know what this guy is doing, right? They would say, Oh, no, too low-brow.” www.rollingstone.com/music/music-...

I bought these eggs BEFORE the inauguration and opened up the fridge today and my Trump benefits came through. It's working!!!

@loscampesinos.bsky.social seems so appropriate today 'Gonna bay for the blood of those that are hurting ya When the black cloud comes, if one flame flickers We will feast on the tongues of the last bootlickers'

31 December 1995. Still the perfect goodbye.

@loscampesinos.bsky.social Still can't believe how tight the production is on All Hell. Pure love of craft is something special to listen to

You're a dedicated swallower of fascism

Recently had two new drivers in the house so have 2 cars for 5 people. This has resulted in me taking Hartford Line and Metro North way more often and it's been awesome

Always a good idea

Afc East equals CBS. It's always incredibly jarring to have a Patriots game on Fox...

@64streetcar.bsky.social , @milesintransit.bsky.social @jeremyzorek.bsky.social Pretending to be 'old guy' on your crew as I am Train> Bus > Plane > Sky Train > LIRR > Metro North > Hartford Line coming from Northern Ireland.
