dang, if anyone needs confirmation never to return to twitter i'll tell ya what, you start seeing what messages the website owners want you to see if you pay attention if musk is mad at it they *flood* the site with hate toward it was the Catholics, now the Ukrainians, it just becomes inescapable

bsky, for all it's faults, genuinely feels like humans are running their own accounts and not like a flood of blank accounts receiving marching orders and overwhelming you if you're off, don't go back, it's a machine of propoganda (not that anyone needs me to tell y'all that)

I saw that FF11's trial is free and unlimited, so what the hell I figure I can give it a shot. First thing I've learned: PlayOnline is genuinely the worst, and I'm shocked anyone can get through this.

In case there's anyone out there who doesn't know, this is a "Moment before disaster" styled photo. He indeed struck two seconds after this photo was taken, there were no survivors. Still a good baby boy, though.

Since no one knows this little gremlin's actual date of birth we marked April 1st as a good approximation of his birthday, so happy birthday to this little goober! He may be a goober but he is my goober.

What the fuck is this? There are nearly two billion Catholics worldwide with many holding the Papal word a mere tier below the literal word of God, all could be turned against Israel in a decree. Israel's pure evil, sure, but I underestimate how stupid they are... www.nbcnews.com/world/israel...

nbcnews.comIsraeli police block Catholic figures from Palm Sunday Mass at Jerusalem's Holy SepulchreThe incident marks "the first time in centuries" Palm Sunday Mass couldn't be celebrated where many believe Jesus was crucified, according to the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

Playin' MTG Arena, I use a hyper aggro red deck (more all-in aggro than most net decks atm). Always wondered if it would be possible to win on a single land, and the answer turns out to be yes. Really shouldn't have kept the hand, truth be told, but a win's a win.

For some fun, I collected MTG Prophecy packs, enough to do Draft with friends. It was a good time, for sure. Not intended, but got a few... *profitable* pulls from the packs. Most would be happy with a few Rhystic Studies from the common pool, but I managed to pull a *foil* Rhystic from the packs.

Bought an original Gameboy for $25 due to it bot working (more specifically, doesn't power on). Opened it up, I think I found the problem: battery acid leakage messed up the DC/DC power converter. Actually kind of a fortunate problem, because the whole part can be replaced for like $10.

A good lesson to anyone who has older electronics that they don't plan to use anytime soon: unhook those batteries! Leaving them in can lead to the batteries leaking acid, which can ruin your electronics in a hurry. I think this is the extent of the damage so a fix should be easy, but we'll see.

In all seriousness this really is one of the SNES's great games, I always recommend Lufia 2 if you can get your hands on it. Next year I look forward to releasing an album of great Lufia arrangements, it'll be great.

so uh with ram being as expensive as it is now (with no end of the peice increases in sight) will the next generation be able to afford one? is it gonna be like the millinniel plight on housing affordability, except with computers?

oh hey, looks like katie wilson might've won the seattle mayoral race nice work katie's team, and thanks to progressive victory for providing her the support needed to pull off the win

I do love Final Fantasy Tactics, but there does come a point where too much knowledge of it's systems can take the challenge right out of it. Four units with ribbons and chantages and one unit invisible with the invisibility cloak will faceroll every fight in the game, level be damned.

how does no one know about this movie, it is literally one of my all time favorites it's one of the funniest roles for both steve marton *and* eddie murphy and no one i've every brought this up to has ever heard of it criminal, if you haven't seen it fix this

Went to a friend's place a few days ago, he had a mystery booster MTG case that he wanted to crack for draft. I found both Static Orb and Mana Breach in the packs and played sticky flying minions. I will be surprised if I'm ever invited to his place again.

Alright, finished the Bravely Default remaster. Still as good a game as I remember, my third time around, though admittedly it *was* limited in what it could do. The original is known for maximizing every single feature of the 3DS, and while this makes do well enough you still feel what's missing.

That's not to say this is a bad experience - on the contrary, with what it could present it does with a fine polish. It was always a great looking game with fantastic music, and there's no better way to experience that than here. Play it, if you haven't yet, a great chance to do so is on Switch 2.

I will add that it was a *real* missed opportunity to not include Bravely Second with the package. A shame, it's arguably a better game, but the player base that can enjoy it is limited to folk who finished the first. That limits how profitable a separate release could be, but we can dream!

Gonna put this out there, Bravely Default remaster is cool and all, but the removal of -100% encounter rates is a *real* drag. One of the best aspects of Bravely Default was it's difficulty adaptability on the fly, and they nix'd the best encounter option? What the hell, Squarenix?

Cats are funny little creatures. People think they're not loyal, but you can't convince me that they do not love their owners with the way they relax and feel safe when you're home. Look at how restful and happy he is when I came home from a busineas trip.

LGBT folk are cool and all, but I am a little salty because they stole my birthday month. Well I hope you make good use out of it and have a happy Pride month, then - I'll be less upset if y'all do something positive with it!

Nearly forgot that my cat's favorite hiding place is inside my television's stand, has some maintenance folk come into my place for repairs and couldn't find him for a minute. He likes jumping behind the television to park himself here until I release him by opening the slide doors. Very cute.

"Oh boy, got four jokers that I don't have a gold sticker on yet, got a high scoring glass king deck with DNA, this run is in the ba-" *"The Plant" is the 7th ante boss blind*

Alright, final deck finished, finished Balatro Completionist+. Also Anaglyph deck can kiss my ass, this is probably the worst deck - it's basically just a bare deck with nothing special most of the time, woof. Went to Yellow deck after, felt like the easiest experience in comparison.
