Yep, Peter V’Landys has much to answer for, but the buck stops with the PM. Albanese's refusal to even consider Peta Murphy's evidence-based review is shameful. His government pretends to work for citizens, but their priority is powerful industry vested interests. #4Corners #LosingStreak #auspol

Fuckin Peter V’Landys in Alabanese’s ear about keeping the gambling ad money tap on. What a huckster. More disappointing behavior from @australianlabor.bsky.social and @albomp.bsky.social #4Corners

Responding to America’s call, Ukraine sent more than 5,000 troops to Iraq — the third-largest Coalition contingent. Eighteen Ukrainian soldiers never came home. They wore our flag in a distant war because allies asked, and because freedom’s defense doesn’t stop at borders.👇

Stronger taxation of multinational corporations and mining/gas companies is a median voter position. Stronger policing of political corruption is a median voter position. More accessible education and training is a median voter position. A new gov doesn't need to be scared of right wing media here

Think about the electoral reality of some big issues. Aggressive action on climate change is a median voter position. Adding dental to Medicare, even if it means the PHI market massively changes is a median voter position. Strong environmental protection is a median voter position.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell. This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

I noticed in the transcript the ABC host asked the PM three times about the t-shirt to get a response out of him. News Corp has barely (if at all from what I've seen) done a story on it, so it seems much of the outrage about it is being driven elsewhere. Kind of strange.

Ahh love the "we have a gas shortage" stories. Nope, foreign gas companies just prefer to sell Australia's gas overseas for more profit. (they also pay bugger all tax, and barely any royalties)

I see Woolies going after some involved in Industrial action last year. Having worked for them in another life I see they really haven't changed. Staff just economic units and nothing else. I only visit a Woolworths now as a last resort... happy to shop elsewhere. I have a great foodworks close.

The organisations providing the privatised services also donates to the major party - which not only gives the organisations a massive revenue stream but also buys them reduced regulations which equals reduced service for us See how it works? #auspol

When Dutton says "smaller Government" what he actually means is privatising the services the public service provides to us - and when those services are privatised - profit is prioritised over care and service - to our detriment. #auspol
