Who remembers the Pokémon Dream World? The service ended on January 14th, 2014, but a group has been doing their best to restore it. If you ever used the Dream World, and still have that same working PC/Laptop or hard drives, please read this! projectpokemon.org/home/index/a...

That all being said- PTGB is still moving forward of course. I’m devastated that the coolest aspect of it has been slashed (at least for now, hopefully the community can figure out something), but there’s still something to be said about linking Gen 1/2 to Gen 3 to have them reach 5/6/7.

This… sucks. Like even after thinking about it for an hour, I can’t think of any other way to say it. It just plain sucks. I’m so sorry it has taken so long to get Poke Transporter GB up and running to what we want it to be. We have so many cool ideas for the future. I thought we had more time.

This all could’ve been avoided if each game could just connect to the previous. That’s all they needed to do! Add Bank/HOME as a storage thing and boom, not as devastating of a shutdown. Maybe that’s a path the community could take, no idea.

Ah wait I forgot about Dexit, so you can’t transfer from game to game since each game doesn’t have all the Pokémon Ughhhhh

My biggest hope this that this is just the beginning of a new Muppet Courtyard at DHS- as *a* Muppet ride, it’s great. As *the* Muppet ride, it doesn’t quite work. At least for me. Fortunately it seems popular, and I hope there’s more to come.

And then we get to the references. This attraction references both Rock ‘n’ and Muppet*Vision 3D a *ton*, and I do love that. Basically every prop in the queue can be traced back to MV3D. But it’s just a little too soon- it still hurts that MV3D closed and I can’t help feel that seeing these props.

I don’t think Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster was the right choice for a Muppet theme. I’m happy these props have another life and I’m happy the Muppets have a new home, but the demographic and writing style of the IP do not mesh well with the high speed intense coaster it was placed on.

Then you get on the ride itself and… it certainly is Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. One of the most intense launches at Disney/Universal followed by the most nothing-burger of a coaster. The flats do have new paint, but the “blink and you’ll miss it” kind of humor does not work with The Muppets.

The coaster isn’t *worse* than what it was before, but it’s no better either, and it’s honestly the weakest part of the whole ride by a long shot.

Firstly is the queue, which is frankly fantastic. The Muppet writers clearly still know what they’re doing (and love doing it!) and it really does feel like it could have opened back in the 90’s with Muppet*Vision 3D, outside of the new characters and modern celebrities of course

There are so many gags, jokes, and moments that I know are going to be loved by kids who grow up with this attraction, much like how I grew up with Muppet*Vision. Many of those quotes are the same even- but more on that later. The Scooter animatronic is so cool and a standout moment!
