Your occasional reminder that polls don't mean shit, you have to show up and vote, preferably early and in person if you can

Dinner at the Plumed Horse tonight, fantastic as always. Even more impressive though, my wife's non-alcoholic pairing, based on seven different tea based cocktails and wines, is somehow even better than my wine pairing. Absolutely unreal flavors.

No stream for me tonight, sadly. Got pulled into an all night debugging session/code red, and I might still be going by this evening...and if not, I'll be sleeping. Take care ya'll :)

Last year I set myself a goal to complete my first century ride and with a few weeks left before my 50th birthday I finished it today :) 101 miles in 8:45 pedaling, plus two breaks for food and one break for a flat tire (at mile 94! But I managed to fix it roadside). Feels good man.

Wanna know why I love Pendragon? Cause I just died to a Primordial Pachyderm carrying The Spear of Leonidas while being targeted by Ttianic Growth. That is how this game is meant to be played :D

Couple of days off so I finally took the time to build my Da Vinci Lego flying machine. I know it's not big, but it's a really really neat set. One of my favorites I think.

Looking for recommendations. What are your top five quality brand loyalties? Great equipment that isn't famous but is just great stuff? Mine... 1. Nemo camping gear 2. Oxo cooking 3. Saxx boxers 4. Heavy Play sleeves 5. Giro biking

For my kid's birthday party, I gave each guest a legend from a pile I had kicking around, then let them build commander decks from a dozen long boxes of old uncommons. Four hours later and they're still jamming unsleeved decks on spare playmats and I think I have a new favorite format.

106 years ago today, on May 7th, an undergraduate at Christchurch College, Oxford, drank a glass of port then left through the main gates for a walk. I've been thinking about him, & his walk, for years now. It's taken a long time for me to figure out why - why I've kept returning, near obsessed.
