Go to your camera roll and search “boat” and then post a picture of a boat you like. What are these? They are called "Barco Rabelo" and used to transport the wine downstream from the Douro valley to the cellars to be aged and create Port wine

My personal experience with the E12 can be shown in the picture bellow. However, it improves with the fitting of a rear anti roll bar (not available on 4 cyl cars like mine and teh car below). But, seat lateral support awful and thsi was mentioned in the period tests.
Friday Commitment: Some countries take commitment to another level. Ever wondered what would happen if a car encountered undulations in a curve? Wonder no more thanks to this January 1974 Auto Motor und Sport group test… (📸: Auto Motor und Sport/ Owen at The Carcheologist YouTube channel)
On this day, 2019, sold my beloved and well looked after E46 320ci and bought off a friend, a pristine c200 cdi S203. Both very well built, but very different to drive. The Mercedes didn't hang for long and after covid kick in and redundancies occurred, I sold it in sep 2020 and bought a mk2.5 Focus

Portugal's greatest footballer, Eusébio, had a Saab Sonnett.
The unusual-looking Saab Sonett III (sometimes known as the 97) occasionally appeared as a small, tantalising picture in the company's European range brochures, but really it existed because of its principal export market: the USA. This American brochure is from around 1972. #weirdcarbs
An interesting article about something reported by a couple of colleagues but never understood why. This gives a bit of perspective on how a vehicle is driven and how the passengers feel. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

This long wheel base CX 25 Prestige served Portugal's President from 1986 to the Early 90's and shared the duty with fellow W126 and W141 for a few years. Now at the Transport museum in Portugal.
In the "old days" all government and officials cars in Portugal were mandatory to be black. Citroen supplied a lot of DS, CX and XM for decades and politicians loved them. Here's a clip from 1974, not longer after the revolution that ended 48 years of dictatorship.
Last night I watched Layer Cake for the 1st time in many years and Morty's RS6 looked just right, like Gene's E32. Funnily enough, Jonny Smith talked about RS6's on the @smithandsniff.bsky.social this morning and how they've gone mad nowadays. For me, the best looking is the "Layer Cake spec" one

Interesting car for sale in Aldershot, a 1990 Ford Thunderbird. Never seen one of these before, but i'm sure @autoatlantica.bsky.social would be able to tell us more
I am now, very, very worried.
BBC News, "Reform UK has received two record donations, both of £36 million" "Given by two different crypto currency billionaires" "Last year, if you add up all of the cash donations given to all of the political parties, it comes to about £69m" "These two donations alone come to £72m"
After i posted this on Insta, I got very good comments and discussions, but this person's comment totally missed the point:
Twiddling my thumbs at work after lunch so I quickly made a excel spreadsheet to see if there is a benefit for me to switch to an electric car. In short, yes, but not yet. Most sub £5k cars don't suit my needs and brand new cars are out of my budget. £8k is achievable, though and there are... 1/2
