Gentler Streak

NEW BETA 5 (710.4) This is one of our most anticipated updates 🧡 With it, you can add *your* side of the story: how you feel, what you’re experiencing, and we will wrap our guidance around that. Read What's New on TF (it's loong, but the update is BIG :) & test away! www.reddit.com/r/GentlerStr...

When it comes to guidance, data, even of good quality, can never have your full context, and that has always been an itch for us. Our new beta (about to go out today 🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️) will let you add your side: how you feel, what you’re experiencing, and we take it in. A BIG one for us! :)

Our current iPhone Duo version made its way into Andru Edwards video 😍 It's the first time we have seen it in the wild! :D www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB3r...

Activity Path is one of our flagship features, and also one of our biggest pains: it’s not self-explanatory and it can be too confusing for people, which is .. not ideal. :) Here’s a way we feel could solve that issue. Any thoughts?

"Designing for iPhone Duo feels like you are designing for more than one device. It means thinking about every possible way someone might hold, fold, or turn their phone... and I'm having fun with this sort of UI/UX challenge." our head (and body) of design Andrej Mihelic

Being featured in #iOS27 App Store bundles means a lot on so many levels. We're indie, anti growth hacking or retention tricks > our reach is small by default. This kind of recognition & exposure helps us stay alive, and lets us focus on what matters: your experience.🧡

We launched The Outsiders on the day of #iOS26 release, so it's only right we're #iOS27 ready on day 0 as well. The latest & freshest take on The Outsiders >>> apps.apple.com/us/app/the-o... Enjoy.

🧡 THE UPDATE 🧡 v 5.13 Counting down the hours? Latest version of Gentler Streak is already live on the App Store - download now, so you are all set when the #iOS27 launch happens (usually 10am PT). It's mostly about Siri, fitting various screens, and glassier look>>>

Played around with design for iPhone Duo. Yorhart approves.

For The Outsiders #ios27 launch, we also have some glossy icons prepared 😍

We are slowly but steadily (!) approaching the release of #iOS27 - and here's a preview of our icon revamp. It's not as clear here as it'll be once the icons land on your iPhone, where the glass will become even glassier 😍

For the "Shipped with Helm" series, we spoke about how: • our roadmap is constantly reshaped by life (aka babies, bugs, flu season) • we don’t have a dedicated QA person • talking to eachother was the best management tool until it wasn't Welcome to GS :) helm-app.com/changelog/sh...

All true.

Great! The Outsiders app by @gentler.app is one of my favorite apps out there. Great job!

We were looking for a way to include a blog on our website, and then decided to just do everything from scratch. And, like so many times before, Andrej, our co-founder/UX/UI designer, nailed it! Happy our web presence now reflects our app's experience - no blog yet, though:D gentlerstories.com

Revamping our website, and looking at this now... if someone said to us 5 years ago we'd be given *one* of those awards/titles, and get coverage in some of that media, we'd have signed in a second! It's been quite a journey so far.
